Ouch G-G
I did 60 press ups and 60 jackknifes yesterday (as well as the 20km bike ride), and today is a rest day but I've done half an hour yoga.
Probably won't do a lot tomorrow either
Happy exercising folks!0 -

Hi G-G, see diagram and description on the link below, about 3/4 of the way down the page "jackknife sit-ups"
http://www.askthehealthclub.com/wt-exe-abdominals.html
They are a bit easier than the press ups0 -
Oh my lord! I will try them tomorrow, I will be shocked if I can do them tho! :rotfl:
Good link tho, gonna have a look at what else I can do on there
I've got an exercise DVD today in the sale at Tesco.. and OH said we can get a running machine!! :T i'm well chuffed.. it means I will be able to run all I like. I know running outdoors is free etc etc, but I really don't feel like I can do it yet and it's putting me off starting..
Missy! I'm so impressed by what you can do, you have really boosted my motivation, thanks!!BSC Member 155

Which DVD is it G-G? That's great you can get a treadmill, let us know which one you go for! I have a small home gym with exercise bike, cross trainer, lateral thigh trainer, weights etc. If space and money were no issue I would probably get a treadmill too
I may do in the future, but I'm just dabbling with running at the moment and I'm not sure I'll stick with it.
It's only in the past year or so that I've really started upping my fitness. Before that I was fairly unfit and I would never have imagined I could do what I'm doing now! You'll get there too, building up gradually and starting with things you enjoy is the key, I think0 -
This is the one i'm thinking of:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/York-Fitness-T101-Treadmill/dp/B000WZO10I/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=sports&qid=1214070600&sr=1-2
I got the woman who is on Loose Women!Dunno if it's any good, but it can't hurt I guess...
I keep meaning to go to classes and stuff, but at £5 or £6 a time it's a lot of money considering I want to do an hour or so of cardio everyday, so hopefully this will be a good investment..! Along with the treadmill to get my running up to standard..
Glad to hear you are fitter than ever, I hope that will be me this time next year :TBSC Member 155

It's not bad at all though, just twinges, and I want to moan..
and get sympathy..
No sympathy from me!!! Lol. I never get any from anyone else, so I'm a hard taskmaster hehe.I did 60 press ups and 60 jackknifes yesterday (as well as the 20km bike ride), and today is a rest day but I've done half an hour yoga.
Jeez. Where do you get your motivation from?!!Which DVD is it G-G? That's great you can get a treadmill, let us know which one you go for! All round Missy's to train!!!Glad to hear you are fitter than ever, I hope that will be me this time next year :T
Of course you will be. Put the effort in and the rewards will come. I sound like an advertising poster.

Yeah, you go and wash your mouth out!
I always seem to say to myself, I havn't got time to go for a bike ride, run, etc etc.. even though I don't actually do much most of the time..Wish I had more motivation, but I must admit, getting fit to join the RAF has certainly got me moving

No sympathy?! Why the hell not?!
It was a brave act of jumping off a mound of snow and going through the air horizontally..and finally ending with a big thud and a few dramitical sumersaults
I make a habit of doing that tho..
Here is me, making a similar mistake from about 12ft in the air
I belly flopped and cracked a rib..BSC Member 155
