£211 per year (over 55s concessionary) off peak only but covers all the gyms, classes and pools in the local borough. Can go up to 5 pm weekdays and only after 1 pm at weekends. On top of that I pay £100 for 12 outdoor bootcamps (6 weeks, 2 per week) in spring and summer. Relatively expensive but amazing results and a nice tan. Usually it is paid for by DH as he works and can afford to buy it for me as a gift. Lately he bought me 5 x personal trainer sessions for my birthday gift, loved them!
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Mine was £19.99per month when I was a student, that was for offpeak, then it went up to £29.99 after I graduated :(

If I remember rightly, the normal membership cost is like £34.99 a month at DW Sports.

£29 a month, rolling contract, spa-style pool and classes - this is for a Bannatynes. 3 city centre locations, and can take DS swimming there at the weekends! About 4 minutes walk from work :)

£17.50 a month. Corporate membership through work, access to all leisure centres and their facilities ie pool, sauna, steam room throughout the county.

Only just joined but am loving it!
  • My recent memebrships (I've had a few!!):
Reebok Club London: £196.50pcm for "PremPlus", but that includes EVERYTHING: pool, sauna, steam room, hundreds of cardio machines with private sky sports / music TV, full height permanent lockers, massage chairs, choice of TV in in the changing rooms / relaxation areas, gym kit laundered every day and returned to your locker, spa vouchers, sunbed tokens, Lavazza coffee machine and a fridge full of bottled water. Stupidly expensive, but so nice you just want to go back again and again - so I got better value from it than any any other membership, just a shame I no longer work near there!

Fitness4Less:various rates, £10 for a weekend, £20pcm @ 1 month rolling or £200/year paid up front. Pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Steam Room, gym seems okay, but limited TV / entertainment and can get a bit busy even on the weekends.

LA Fitness: £56pcm + £16 for a locker - hired locker almost mandatory due to the number of locker-squatters. Overheated pool, steam room that's normally switched off, lack of sufficient aircon in the gym and the gym, pool and changing rooms all really overcrowded.

QMC: £29pcm swimming only. To be investigated shortly :)
