Just wondering if anybody else has experienced a similar issue to me?

I got the code from MSE for the 50% Sky, jumped at the chance and signed up for it - Sky Entertainment and Sky Sports for £21.25/month. Immediately I got a call from a sales advisor who confirmed these details.

Had my installation yesterday - no problems but checked my First Bill today and it's for the full price of £42.50 (well, £32.50 because they 'discounted' the £10 I had already paid on the day of the sign up.

I used the Live Chat service to try and sort this out (which took ages) and all I kept getting was:

"As the 50% offer is not applied on to you account I request you to contacted "moneysavingexpert.com " team so the they will check and up date the offer on to your account."

I suggested that this does not have anything to do with the website, but all I kept getting were scripted responses like As "moneysavingexperts.com " third party web site that is the reason, you will have to contact then, to avail the offer given to you".

Anyone else had the same problem?

Did you change ANYTHING when the sales advisor called? If they changed anything after setup it can wipe out the discount of the 50% code...

Nope, I just confirmed all the details, confirmed the price i.e. £21.25 per month and then he asked me for card details for the £10, and Direct Debit details!
  • I have found the exact same problem- does anybody know any way to resolve this??
  • i am waiting for my install which is next sunday so will be able to share my experience on the 50% offer whether it reflects on my account.

The codes were linked to the postcode you entered when you got the code so you're unable to get a code from someone else. Are there no more on the site? They were giving away 10000.
