Doubt it, it was postal code linked when I got it in December, and it was mayhem then...0 -
I'm not sure if it's by name or house. I'm have the sky in my name at my parents place but I'm in the middle of buying a house and will be moving out in 6 weeks. I doubt I'll be able to take sky in my name with the offer at the new house as I am a previous sky customer within 12 months.
My parents aren't sky customers as far as sky are concerned so as far as the offer is concerned they are new customers?
Or are sky just having their cake and eating it by not allowing either?0 -
Hello all - the MSE page states:
"The offer is only open to new Sky TV customers (defined as someone who has not had Sky TV in the past 12 months)"
My sky runs out in March this year in my name. therefore can I use the voucher in my wifes name at the same address to commence a service from when my current one expires?
Get the feeling sky will probably not honour, but thought it might be worth checking.0 -
by moving you would be able to take out the deal at your new place a sa new customer....0

Really? Even though I'm a current sky customer?
As it happens I've placed the order now with my girlfriend as the account holder anyway. Just hope my parents can get the same deal0 -

I got a code, is it safe to wait until this evening to use it or will 2500 people really sign up that quickly?0
-
if you have the code it doesn't matter who else signs up, the code is valid for a set period.0

Argh! As an update I managed to get one of the codes and asked Sky on Live Chat if I could apply it to my order. They said no I'd have to cancel and re-order. Anyone know if this will be more hassle than its worth? My installation is due on Saturday and we've already received the viewing card, Sky Hub also arrived today.
I don't really want to let the saving go but have tried phoning and have to wait 10 mins on hold before speaking to someone and as I'm at work it's just not practical.0
