They said if I did that then I technically wouldn't be classed as a new customer as they would just re-activate my old account.
Oh well.
Then just cancel, it may well focus their thought on the mater.0 -
I received my 50% off code this morning but when I called my sky provider, AV UK, I was told that the code didn't apply to flats or apartments, is this correct? I thought 50% off was too good to be true, you don't ever seem to get something for nothing.0

Hello all - the MSE page states:
"The offer is only open to new Sky TV customers (defined as someone who has not had Sky TV in the past 12 months)"
My sky runs out in March this year in my name. therefore can I use the voucher in my wifes name at the same address to commence a service from when my current one expires?
Get the feeling sky will probably not honour, but thought it might be worth checking.
When we tried this years ago, they wouldn't accept a new customer order with the same bank details. Luckily we still have two current accounts. ;-)What goes around - comes around0 -
They're giving away 10,000 codes but only the first 2,250 to order will be accepted. If you're they 2251th person to order your code won't be accepted.
My bad, hadnt noticed they did that this time round.
What's the bets the 7,500 people who handover their details either get junk mailed to heck or are offered an 'alternative' deal...0 -
You could have ordered the multiroom at the time of placing the order mate and the engineer would have been able to install the additional lines/boxes. Give them a ring and see if they can add ti on to save you having to wait for another engineer visit.
Yeah, I didn't see a multi-room bit. Will ring ahead of installation but presume it isn't in 50% offer anyway.0 -

Probably not but saves wasting time waiting for another man in a van to come

1. The codes will be linked to postcodes, so they cannot be sold on.
2. Please ONLY get a code if you’ll use it. As there’s heavy demand, you’ll be denying someone else a code otherwise.
3. Sky says it will not honour cashback on any orders made via a cashback site0 -

Yep, no cashback available on this offer. It will show on your CB site as being accepted, but it will decline when it comes to paying out time.0
