I have done dinner and the ironing

Need to reshuffle the TD and WM, then in about an hour I can remake the bed and all dailies will have been done as well as a thorough blitz of the kitchen and polishing, hoovering and mopping of the LR and DR

Hi there - and Happy Birthday to Vanilla - yet ANOTHER Aquarian! (Air sign - passing on knowledge etc etc!! Beautiful and charming etc etc - alright, yes, I'm one!!!). I hope you have a great day and a good break at the beach.
Deckogecko - I hope your cat will be ok - I know what a worry it can be, and for the litter tray, try putting a heavy magazine or two in the bottom, then covering with any liners or plastic bags you use, before adding the litter, it may help. Or, LameWolf's idea is a good one.
LameWolf, our new (old in years) cat has an inner kitten and he sprints down the garden at times, chasing his tail! It's lovely to watch!!
Had a mega busy day! After breakfasts all round I cleaned the couches, damp-dusted through the bungalow, did window sills, bathroom and kitchen sinks, surfaces etc, then we walked next door's dogs. OH brought them back and hoovered through and tidied up some of his mags etc, while I went to shop for sick friend and then did 2 hours of cleaning and washing there! Re-made his bed, got us a quick lunch, then took out rubbish and left! Then did a small shop for home, got back, sorted out cats again and am now sat with a cuppa! Easy tea of grilled bacon and mushrooms tonight, then a film.
However, tomorrow, after we are up, breakfasted and showered I intend only to change the bed and get the WM on, then we're going into town for a mooch round and have a lunch out and generally chill!
Good vibes all round and good wishes to anyone feeling poorly. Skint, I hope your trip goes well, and was it Narcolepsy going away? If so, have a good time, I know you were worried about it.
Bye for now, R x0 -

rowan tree your kitty sound like the one i used to have, he waited till i clean then wandered off to find some mud to paddle through, i miss cleaning muddy paws up now.
Mrs-Moneypenny, this is a new to us, but old in years cat, and he is a big boy, with big feet and legs, bless! Don't they just love to get wet or muddy (well, some do!).
You never forget a loved pet, do you, muddy paws and all. Love, R x0 -
Evening all. Well paid stuff is now done, dinner eaten (and just for a change I've done the washing and drying up and put everything away), meal plan and shopping list for DH done. I managed to get the ironing done today and the dogs got a walk when DH arrived home to sit with SickDog.
So...plans for the weekend:
Wrap & send two fleabay parcels
Make batch of Yorkshires
Freeze unused pancakes
Walk dogs
Hoover again and again
Piano practise
Newspaper reading
and anything else I feel like doing. Will report in.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Evening!
Tots away to bed and warned to stay there tonight. I want my bed to myself! The little sneaks
We might be quite busy tomorrow, but have plenty of food cooked up in the fridge to grab in between appointments. We'll see how the littlest gets on at football. She's borrowing her brothers old rugby kit. Bless her... I'll add a pic shortly...
Also evidence I have stripped my bed today, lolBossymoo

Hi all
Thanks LW, HJ & Rowantree for good wishes about DC1 - he's got to have a blood test to check his thyroid - he may have hyperthyroid as he was showing borderline on his blood test in November. If he has that then I have to get him special food and feed him separate from the other two which shall be interesting!
bossymoo - your daughter has an infectious smile
Flying wise
Shoes polished
WM on - clothes about to be put on maiden
LR, hallway, kitchen & bathroom vacuumed
Towels taken out TD, folded and put in bathroom
Post sorted and unwanted paperwork shredded
