 to Lamewolf. 3.00am walkies, as long as it's not raining, are okay by me - at a pinch.

Am slightly concerned about Dog. She ate the co-0p beef last night without any trouble at all, which is good because it is how I sneak her Propalin into her. This morning she won't touch it. I have to say this new box doesn't actually look much like beef and it normally does. Hmm. I'll have to see if it responds to spurs and a sugar lump.

Flying going [STRIKE]great[/STRIKE] carp this morning. Will declutter a bowl of curried whoopsied parsnip soup with homemade bread and have a ponder about Lent.
    Better is good enough.

Happy lunchtime everyone! A different Tuesday for me today; something I did in the gym last week seems to have disagreed with my back, so no exercise for me today (that's 3 hrs saved), then my new students have cancelled this afternoon's lesson (2hrs saved). Now I'm sure you're all expecting me to reel off a list of how much flying I've done in that extra time..........nooooooooooo...........don't you know that my favourite animal is the sloth?

    Had lie-in with Kindle
got up in nick of time to put Freecycle goods outside door for collection; I beat the new owner by 5 minutes!
    went to post office
mucked out OH horse and made up his feeds
    filled bird feeders
re-potted sad Heuchera plant attacked by evil vine weevils

Actually the house isn't too bad after Saturday's pre-visitor blitz.
So this afternoon, and tying in nicely with today's Study List, my plan is:
    - finish 2 reports
    - plan 3 lessons for tomorrow
    - de-clutter study desk
    - de-clutter study floor
    - continue reviewing last year's finances for freelance planning
    - have another coffee oooooooohhhh who put that there?
Maybe if I set a time for 20 minute blocks, I can rotate round each task so as not to get fed up/sidetracked. I can't believe I teach organisation skills for a living..............
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

Sounds like an important talk about keeping safe and trust is needed and a 'boy talk' .. DH would have been told off too for letting her go knowing she hadn't been entirely truthful with you.

DD2 is now cleaning her room.. she knows she was caught out it appears! lol.

DD3 informed me yesterday one of her awfull friends is moving in a few doors up.. I might have to move, she is a vile child and her voice makes me want to punch her (I know she can't help it but does she really have to talk?) She appears to have no boundaries and be totally babied and spoiled..

Oh don't worry, she will get a stern talking too, she is naive which is not a good thing! DH didn't know until she came back & told him she had give the boy the present, she said they just happened to be there!!!! (aye right!!)

Off to post work mail then collect kids, see you all later for an wee HHC perhaps x

    Afternoon all

Not a whole load of flying achieved (of just about none) but I have:

    Taken recyclables to the dump
Got a new art case for DS2
Taken DS3 repeat script to the GP
Got a little birthday present for DS3
Moved some money from one bank to another
Sent a link to my lovely FiL for a present (some lovely iris tubers)
    WMx1
    DWx1
    30 in 30

Going to nag DS1 to clear up the mess in the kitchen next and have a quick hoover around, as I'm cold. Join me in 15 minutes of something?

  • Afternoon  checking in to tick off flying so far this week

It goes without saying Skint Baby Holly is keeping me in Daisy the Cow mode, morning, noon and night....although last night she hid a nasty air bubble which when released decluttered several ounces of milk over my bed, cue one grumpy Skint Baby as there was more milk over the bed than left in me for extraction :mad::mad:

[STRIKE]Clear out some emails or favourites[/STRIKE] got rid of 10 emails out of my main account - really need to look at my freecycle email account soon - can't have 30,000 emails like I had at the end of last year :rotfl::eek::rotfl:

Are you giving up something for lent or better still take something up- that's what I'm doing, 10 minutes exercise a day and if all else fails 10 minutes lying on the floor each day!

    Monday WM x 3, TD x 3, DW x 2
    Tuesday WM x 5, TD x 5 DW x 1
Two Special Delivery letters sorted and posted, decluttering half my purse in the process

Following on from a post much earlier on Fred, or it might even be last weeks Fred - after having lots of trees removed from front garden in Autumn, now have several patches of snowdrops poking through which is lovely, as there was only one patch visible last year.

Froggy Kitchen Windows - I may have to make a good effort on these ready to have blinds and curtains fitted at them. For years I have had blinds and curtains at the front of the house drawn day and night, and I have only started opening them sporadically since doing this thread. But the kitchen is the only room I have resisted blinds and curtains 1) cos I find no matter how good the extractor fan, food smells seem to linger on curtains 2) I can see the kids playing in the garden without going out there 3) I hate venetian blinds at the best of times, but removing kitchen grease and film will add to the cleaning time factor 4) I can see a few feathered friends in the garden (used to be a cuppa past-time with the late EX FIL standing by the back door looking out and see who was pecking around the garden)
But now the woman over the back who made my blood boil shortly before Skint Baby was born has been spying over a 6ft high fence at the bottom of my garden (it is hard to confirm the identity at that distance, it is either her or worse it could be one of her male helpers on her animal sanctuary trying to spy on the kids!) coupled with a strange car parked directly outside my house overnight it, and someone keeps dragging my front gate across (it's far too heavy to be moved by the wind and too heavy to be moved by me) and it has got my paranoia alarm going into overdrive.

So I have dug out my thick curtains from the LR at my old house (that I moved from 6 years ago, I really am a terrible hoarder/good recycler depending on your point of view:)) and found a curtain pole that will fit across the back door, and I am trying to find a venetian blind to fit the kitchen window. I can't fit it myself as I need a special drill to go into the lintel (sp?) so I will ask the EX to do it when he next visits (may be a couple of weeks away as he wants "his life back"). In the meantime, I am nagging the kids to make sure they are fully dressed head to toe before venturing downstairs just in case :mad::eek::mad:

An englishwoman's home should be her castle, but do I really have to put in a moat and drawbridge, and station archers on the roof?

Oh well, enough griping from me, going to go to Pharmacy now and get some nasal drops for Skint Baby otherwise she will be snuffling and gulping air down all night long again - maybe I should get some Gripe Water for myself, but its a bit beyond the powers of an infant medicine to sort my gripes out though :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Right on that cheerier note, off I pop

Hugs, sticks, spoons to all in want/need...in the jar please help yourselves :D
The cold never bothered me anyway
