Helloooooo Twitty, how lovely to hear from you. Hope all is going well in your debt free world:D
To answer your question - no I haven't but I am keeping a look out for the Kew Gardens 50p piece. Going for lots of money on flea bay apparently:rotfl:
As we say up here in Yorkshire 'where there's muck there's brass!'
But in my experience you sometimes have a lot of 'dirt' to shovel before you find the gold (or the 50 piece!)

So lovely to hear from you. Don't be a stranger.
Good luck with the PPI. If you don't try you don't know.
Ticking along nicely here will be done within 5 or 6 months.

Oh well done you! The time will soon pass and hopefully you'll be drinking that glass of champers in the sun!!!
I know it seems when you first go on your DMP the end is SO far away but the day does come. So all newbies please take heart - it is a struggle but the finish day will come for you too!

Just wanting a little bit of advice please
I've sent letters to my creditors with token payments attached. It explains my Situation and that sc are working with me. I've just received an email from Very saying they need me to call them asap to discuss my account. I know they've received the letter as my token payment is showing on my account. Knowing this should I ignore the email or call them? Tia0 -

I personally rang anyone who requested me too or who rang, and just reiterated I was entering a dmp with sc and gave them the ref number. At the end of the day it's up to you I found that although token payments were cashed so letters had been received not all departments spoke to one another.Christmas 2020 £109

Hi everyone, looking for abit of advice if I can.
My DMP starts on 1st March and SC wrote to all my creditors around 12th Feb. Tesco have responded (17th Feb) advising that they were accepting the proposed payment and would review in 6 months. They then went on to say that 'in order not to to charge interest' they would default me and I should expect to receive the standard letters if I had not already done so (I haven't). I have just received my statement and they accepted the token payment but charged me £155 interest on 21st Feb (so after the letter) no late payment or overlimit it fee though.
Should I wait and see what happens in the March statement or write to them asking if they would consider refunding and to clarify if they are freezing interest going forward?
Just to keep you updated on my other creditors, MBNA (2cards) have accepted and frozen interest, Barclaycard wrote to advise that they would await the details from SC, not heard anything since but still time, Santander have not responded at all despite 3 letters from me and one from SC over 5 weeks but have accepted my token payment.
Thanks in advance0 -

I've got a CC with Tesco and they stopped all interest on my account. It can't do any harm to write to them, or perhaps you could call them and ask?DMP Mutual Support Thread No. 421

Oh I have been shovelling dirt for a long time now. That's a lot of dirt! I'm sure it is time for me to find something, anything? Knowing my luck it will be an old tin can.:(DMP Mutual Support Thread No. 421

Hi Rebelred, great advice from Puzz, just a word to caution that have seen quite a few reports on the forums that Very and associated catalogues can be extremely harsh and discouraging on the phone. So try to be prepared and strong, You sound very sensible and I'm sure you'll be fine but wanted to prewarn you :eek:Debt -it's a fight that I'm winning, dealing with debt one day at a time.
