    Many thanks for your reply. I cancelled my cards in 2003, so essentially I can only really apply for the period of charges between 2001 - 2003? As opposed to the total duration of five years (1998 - 2003) in which I was charged and possessed my active accounts? Andy, Glasgow.

    Thats right or my claim against Abbey would be for a bit more. I'm only sorry I didn't start sooner, but I did manage to get a sizeable chunk in the claim. :) Also note that in the figures/accounts below that only 1 of the accounts I claimed against is currently active! (Barclays)
    Got It & Spent It :dance:
    IKEA CARD = £120 charges = £175 received (146%)
    MARBLES = £450 charges = £370 received (82%)
    I.F. = £494 charges = £494 received (100%)
    CAPITAL ONE = £981 charges = £1,489.03 (152%)
    BARCLAYCARD = £580 charges = £786.12 (136%)
    On Hold :mad:
    A+L = £722 charges (target = 147%)
    BARCLAYS = £1,405 charges (target = 128%)
    BARCLAYS = £175 charges (target = 140%)
    ABBEY = £3,220 charges (target = 148%)

  • Hi Folks, I'm new to the Forum. I would like to reclaim my bank charges, although one of the accounts that i wish to claim from is now closed. (I closed it myself). I know however that there were lots and lots of charges placed on the account over the years. I'm talking thousands. Can i still reclaim them from the closed account?
    Thank you
