  • Well my GF got the flowers today, on the box it said it was posted Thursday and the roses look exactly like roses should do when they have been in a box for 5 days, quiet withered.....well.... Till next valentine
  • still no flowers here. I had a reply from CS asking if I wanted the flowers or a refund. I find that very cheeky considering that they have been offering flowers AND a 50% refund. What a shambles I can't believe how much a company can !!!! something up. they claim to have loaded all of the flowers onto the vans on the 14th for delivery on the 15th but I can't believe the courier just lost all those flowers. Something is severly amiss here

Something is amiss, apparently they used Yodel.

Yodel used to be HDNL, they rebranded because their reputation was so poor.

  • Tuesday 18th Aren ahave promised me three delivery times the latest being today. But once again no flowers and no money back.
I really feel MSE should step in and give immense bad publicity to this firm who have clearly conned them and a load of genuine purchasers. Oh and what about getting our money back from Arena or MSE.
I cant believe that a company can lie and lie and MSE just sit there and do nothing.
  • Gotta love this from Arena, sorry we failed to deliver your flowers for the third time, why not place another order with us and signup to our newsletter as we have impressed you so much....

"Unfortunately, it does look like your order was cancelled rather than rescheduled for today as you requested. I'm so sorry as I'm really not sure how this error occured.

I suggest that, if you should like to, you can use the voucher code MSEsorry to give you 50% off your order now. I know you are also keen to purchase for Mothers day, so if you like you could also sign up for our newsletter, which will alert you of some of our fantastic offers we will have running up to Mothers day."

I received two emails today. The 1st one stated, "sorry you have received this email by mistake. Our IT department are looking into it. We have refunded your money."

The 2nd email.." We have cancelled your order".

How do you send an email stating you are sending the same email in error, and how have they cancelled my order, which they have already confirmed has been sent?!

Seems to me they are now just generating emails and sending them out randomly without reading them first!

Will have to wait for my credit card bill to see if I have actually received a refund!!!! Fingfers crossed they have refunded me!
  • It's from last year but this did make me laugh:

"Arena Flowers co-founder Will Wynne doesn't expect his small business to make much money from Valentine's Day, but the manic period does offer a chance to prove to investors and buisness partners that he's capable of running a much bigger operation."

Well Will I'm not sure your buisness[sic] partners will be too impressed with the fall out from your utterly shambolic attempt to remedy this failure. Here I am 6 DAYS LATER with no flowers and no refund. Is there somewhere we can escalate this to?

  • Well as things stand I have recieved

    0 flowers
    0 refunds

I have been promised flowers on 3 occasions and a refund for the 18th.

I have now received a shirty email off them stating
"As stated on yesterday's email, we are processing your full refund as you requested (funds should be returned to your account sometime this week).

Please receive our most sincere apologies for the whole ordeal and the time it has taken us to reply. We are currently addressing the problem and dealing with the aftermath, which as you can imagine is immense."

    With that line emboldened!
I wouldnt mind but the email the previous day just said
Further apologies for all your inconvenience. If on the off chance you consider using us again after this mess, you can get 50% off your order by usingArenasorry and the email I'm writing to.

As if I would ever use this shambles of a business again!

All I want is a refund.

    Its an absolute joke.

Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.

I managed to get refund only after speaking to their CEO.

I realised that they blatanly lied when they sent this email on Valentine's day saying the flowers will arrive on Friday. Flowers never arrived on Friday, nor or Saturday , Nor Monday.

This is depiste them 'claiming' using a 24-hour courier on Thursday.

Bottom line is that they never sent any flowers to me, which is unbelievable, yet they held my funds for 10 days.

My advise to you, DO NOT buy from this company ever, and spread the word about them.

    P.S:
They probably having laugh, thinking that offering a 50% discount off 'future' purchases they will attract anyone to their website.

Still in the same boat of having no flowers, no response and no refund from this bunch of scammers.
As most flower gifts are time critical I'm sure all consumers who hear of this bunch of shysters will take their considerable business elsewhere.
