Email osorio. We did. Within a few days, an uphold email plus an apology and a promise that we will have the money within five days :-)

Hi. Did you email Osorio because you complaint had not been upheld in the first place, or because you had not heard anything. When you sent the email did you get a confirmation email from the customer relations department, or from Osorio's office.
I emailed osorio today as I had a letter advising that my complaint had not been upheld, (this eventually arrived 3 months after they said they had sent it on 22nd dec!), A couple of hours later i received an acknowlegement letter from the customer relations dept stating that I would received a written confirmation of my complaint to osorio within 10 working days. This is just an acknowledgement letter!!, not a response. You stated that you actually had a response and outcome by email is that right.

You would be better taking this to FOS if you've had a rejection.

If all unsuccessful complainants had to do was E-Mail the CEO everyone would be doing it.

I would imagine all you will get is a reiteration of the reasons redress was denied and an apology for the delay.

Hi, im new to this site, but i am so fed up of Lloyds!!! I started a claim in September which got declined I have six loans with them, so i appealled their decision in November in writing got a letter confirming they had received my appeal and would look at it. Nothing until the beginning of February when i received a call asking for more information (i spent an hour on the phone with them) at the end of the conversation the woman said we will be in touch over the next couple of weeks, well still nothing i have range a few times since chasing, called again today and surprise still no decision!! Im fuming so i said customer loyalty does not mean anything to them as i still bank with them.

Has anyone else had this long to wait or is it just me?? Thanks i had to get that out of my system :-(

When they re-investigste something, they theoretically have all the time in the world to do it because there is no set limit.
You may be waiting for a few weeks yet.

On what basis did the bank reject your complaint and on what basis did you appeal?
Do be aware that just because they have agreed to to reconsider your concerns does not mean they will now uphold.

They said they hadnt found sufficient evidence, so i replied by saying i was not informed of any insurances when taking out the policies. Then on the phone call i advised i had insurances etc. I have spoken to some friends who banked at the same bank etc and they managed to get their claims without any questions. I guess i probably wont be lucky :-( Just wish they would reply

Also be aware that you only have 6 months from the first full and final rejection letter, which yours was, to send your complaint to the FOS if you're not ahppy with their decision.
