lloyds tsb ppi claim

Hi Ive sent off a claim for ppi for a total of five loans that I had dating back from 1992… three of which were taken out when I was a student nurse so I'm guessing that I couldn't have claimed as I was a student…
lloyds phoned me today for further information re my employment benefits etc at the time…
just wondering how long do you think It will be before they get back to me as they are now looking at my complaint? she wouldn't give me a time scale just 'shortly'!
its keeping me up all night:rotfl: wondering if I will recieve a refund or not I have been hopeful as I'm sure it was all miss old but have read a lot about lloyds not giving refunds…

I received my phonecalls from Lloyds around the 9th January and still nervously waiting for a decision.

awesome. can i ask how you went about it? Im kind of at a loss as to where to start, i know i dont have y orginal docs. but im 50/50 on wheteher i have legit reason for claim however it cant hurt right?

Yeah, did it myself too. Sent off SAR, then filled out questionnaire.

Get a template letter of MSE for an SAR.

I completed an sar from a template I got off Mse sent it to my local lloyds branch with a ten pound cheque (sent recorded delivery) think I had to wait a month and got all my information from them- account numbers etc then filled in a questionnaire ( which I think is on Mse also) sent that off recorded delivery then Recieved a letter saying I should get a decision within eight weeks.... That would be mid march plus the phone call I Recieved

Is there any point me ringing next week for an indication?

Quick question - Did you apply for all 5 loans PPI on the one questionaire or seperately? Were any consolidated loans (paying off a previous loan) as Im in the same boat as you?

Hi second chance,

You have recieved a letter saying they are looking into your complaint and you will get a decision within eight weeks. Allow them this time, you can always give them a follow up call after that time.

I filled in a form for each loan that had been taken out.
