  • I do wonder how much longer they are going to be able to offer these offers with the amount that is being redeemed.

Are you joking? Their market cap is $67 billion on the NYSE and the cost of doing offers like this is pittance compared to what a television campaign costs for example.

  • Hi

Maybe a silly question but thought I would ask - I have an Amex card and my OH is a additional card holder. We went to HOF and spent just over 100 quid and split it over our 2 cards at the till. Unfortunately one of us forgot the pin and got locked out so we had no choice to pay for half of it on a standard credit card.
I was wondering if you think we can return the goods to the store for a full refund and then have it put back on our Amex cards (checking back in with foursquare etc) to get the full fifty pound cash back?

Thanks in advance for any tips
  • Yes, no reason why you couldn't return the goods and purchase again on your Amex. Your original check-in & load will still be active so no need to redo it if it's still within the same offer period.

FYI you can also view Amex card PINs online. Just login to Amex and go to View PIN under Card Management.

  • That's all really helpful information, Thanks!

I didn't think the additional account holder card counted for the foursquare deals anyway?

Supplementary cards do work so long as the main card number is different, which is the case for all cards issued by Amex but not MBNA.
