Oh NO! For some people, that would be big inconvenience - for you, it's a total DISASTER.:D

Hope it is fixed quickly and without too much expense :)

yep it's a total disaster! Thankfully I can cook meals on the hob and under grill, microwave and slow cooker-also the George F0reman :D
as for baking  I don't even want to think about it! :(
Good work. Spurred on by your list, I hereby promise to do my list tomorrow. :T

If I have a lot of paperwork to shred, I burn it in the garden incinerator instead - much quicker and kind of fun. :D

we don't have a garden incinerator. :( last time Mr tc tried to burn some in our chimenea it was a very bad plan! Enough said. :rotfl:
I look forward to seeing your to do list peaceandfreedom. :)

so do I. Mr tc suggested cleaning it-I noticed he didn't offer to do it though! :rotfl:
I think it's probably worn out too. Ideally, I'd like a range-Mr tc is hoping our current one is fixable as the one I've seen is over 1k  :rotfl:

Hi Tattycath - is the oven fixed?

Glad you've been out enjoying some family time in the sunshine. :)

I'm afraid I must confess to not having done my proper to-do list for April - maybe tomorrow? :embarasse :D

  • Tattycath - just wanted to say hi.

You haven't been around for a little while - hope you are OK and enjoying some family time this Easter hols.

I have spent some time in the garden and have also been out and about quite a bit visiting places and on days out with friends. It's been good. :)

I am also strongly considering doing some baking this afternoon to make a dessert for after dinner - you'd be proud of me. :D

What have you been up to?

    Hi peaceandfreedom
Been having some family time-visiting family and day trips etc. :)
Went to a car boot early this morning-but it was really cold :o so we came home and I went back to bed for a could of hours :rotfl:
Oven still  :( so it looks like we need a new one -well, new to us...I will have to see what we can sort. Meanwhile I'm looking for stuff I can make without baking. :)

@sd@ is closed today so I decided we would call in last night on the off chance there would be some bargains. We ended up getting:
    A seeded loaf
Half a dozen white bread rolls
Half a dozen whole grain rolls
    Gorgonzola
    2 cheese and garlic flatbreads
    Some sliced ham
    Cumberland sausage-cooked
    6 pork sausages-cooked
For the grand total of £1.70 :D
We did buy some other stuff too-but I had price guarantee vouchers for nearly £3 :D
It worked out that we got about £20 worth of stuff for about £7.50 :)
If only I had a bigger freezer-I could have bought 10 large loaves for £1!
Right, off to make a cuppa. :D
Trying to concentrate on family for a bit coz poor Mr tc was beginning to think he was a mse widower. :( :rotfl:
