    Hi peaceandfreedom
Been having some family time-visiting family and day trips etc. :)
Went to a car boot early this morning-but it was really cold :o so we came home and I went back to bed for a could of hours :rotfl:

Ha ha, love your style, Tattycath. :D

And it *was* cold today wasn't it - we've had the heating on most of the day (partly because we have people staying and when one of them was sitting there in their outdoor coat with the hood up, we though perhaps they were a bit chilly. :rotfl:)

As for your Asda haul - what clever thinking on your part, well done. :T

Glad to see that most places closed for Easter Sunday - gives their staff a break. Tesco Express were open though - our local one was so jam-packed at lunchtime there were cars parked up on the pavements as the car park was full (I wasn't going in, I hasten to add, I avoid Tesco where possible). It's strange really - do people not plan ahead at all?

Hope you get a new oven soon, TM, or you'll start getting withdrawal symptoms. :)

    Hey TC,

well done on the haul at Mr A's :T Hope you can sort out a new oven soon - we have an electrical place near us where they sell re-conditioned items or slightly damaged items at a good price - all the items are new and not been used but been returned for whatever reason - slight damage / fault wrong size etc. So the prices are really good - if you have one near you you could compare the prices x have a good day x

Yes, I think we have one somewhere local. I'm busy number crunching at the moment and trying to collate stuff to sell on the bay. :)

    Hi all.
Been recharging my batteries and giving Mr tc some attention as he was feeling that I was spending more time in cyber land than with him. :(
Anyway, it's a short week this week. :)
Went for a brisk walk last night and that blew the cobwebs away. :)
Working today -probably most of the day and I have a few bay sales to pack and post out. :D
Not sure what to do for dinner tonight-will have a think.
I have managed to update my signature this morning-I now have £2,500/£4,000 in savings :T - not sure how I have managed this as money is tight just now and I have to save up for a new cooker too.
    Right, best get on! :)

Hi to all who visit my diary.
Well it's Saturday night and I've just had a very late evening meal-as I was gabbling on the phone to my lovely sis. :)
I had a very frugal curry and rice-curry left over from last night, so it wouldn't go to waste. Mr tc and miss tc1 made something with stuff that needed using up out of the fridge. :)
After having a bit of a break from cyberland posting, I have masses of ideas swimming about in my head... :D
That's great for me but I now need to try and action at least some of them. :)
Apart from mountains of washing and helping clean the car out-oh and going to the rag market. :o:) I've had a bit of a lazy day.
Tomorrow will be more washing and hopefully some sewing. Or crochet... Right now I'm going to chillax with a cuppa and catch up on the news. :)

Well I managed to update my signature but forgot to say that I now have £2,549.00/£4,000. :D
Whilst I am really pleased, I'm in a position where I really should buy a new cooker, but I don't want to part with any of my savings so I am making do with the cooker I have until I can save up for it separately. :(
I think I may now be addicted to saving! :D
My head is all over the place at the minute as I am 'a woman of a certain age' and my hormones are wreaking havoc with my body to the point where I really don't know if I'm coming or going-I'm determined I'm not going on HRT as I've heard 'bad things' about it. Personally I think once you have finished having children you should be able to take a magic pill so that periods and the menopause are all over and done with in one fell swoop!
One minute I'm melting, the next minute I'm freezing. Today I really don't know if I'm Arthur or Martha! :o
Any advice, hints or tips most appreciated please. TIA. Xx :)

    Hi Ellidee
Doctor suggested that over the counter medicine is really good these days and to have a look! I have to go back later this week for blood tests.
I'm headachey and cold again today-so I've been back to bed for a couple of hours-headache is persisting though, so I think an early night is in order tonight.
No financials to report just now.
