Today I have done...very little so far-even though I have been up since 8.15am.
I still need to put some washing in
I have refilled dishwasher and switched it on.
I need to find some sewing patterns.
Mr tc needs to let me know what's happening about some important household stuff that needs sorting.
I also need to get listing and photographing!GE 36 *MFD may 2043

It's been a beautiful day today and we've been out and about.
Yesterday I needed to sort some insurance stuff out and now savings are a bit depleted.I have updated signature. Savings are now £2,062.00/£4,000 this time last year I would have had to sort insurance out on monthly direct debit-which would have been more expensive, so at least I have saved a bit there and I went through top cash back so I should have some money to come back in about a month or so!
It's been a very long day today and an early start so I'm now going up to bed.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Night night, TC. Not to worry about the slight savings depletion - you have saved money doing it this way.
I've also had a long day and have an early start tomorrow - thank God Monday is a bank holiday.0 -
Hi Tatty, hope you're feeling OK. I think your savings approach is great and knowing our have the cash to pay up front for stuff must make you see just how far on this journey you've travelled
I don't know how you manage to do anything if you feel lethargic - you really are inspiring - I'd be sat with a book and my feet up
Take it easy

Thanks Tilly.
I have travelled a long way on my journey-I didn't realise until
you pointed it out.
I was in bed for 11 last night and didn't wake up until half past 10 this morning.
Been out in the garden this afternoon. Finally managed to dig some of it over and get some seeds in.. Not sure how they will turn out-I've had the seeds for a couple of years.
So far we have in: cabbage, leeks, carrots and dwarf beans. Still need to get some lettuce to plant and some potatoes in. I'm growing peas in a pot when I get on with it.
Right off for a shower.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Meant to ask... On Friday night I went to supermarket and bought a couple of tiny lamb chops for 20p and some ox tail for 20p, both are now in freezer.
Any idea on the best way of cooking ox tail please? My oven is still kaput but I have a hob and slow cooker and grill. There won't be a lot of meat whatever I do with it. I'll have to bulk it out with veg.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Pounding headache! Went to bed for an hour and a half about 6 last night. Got up again at half 7 -still had a headache. Had a sandwich and a cuppa and some paracetamol and took myself back off to be at 9pm.
Woke up this morning-head still pounding and took some co codamol. Went back to sleep and woke up to the sound of someone at the door at 10.30am.
So now I'm up and my head is still pounding!and I must have slept for over 12 hours!
It's going to be a rest day today.back at docs tomorrow so hopefully he'll be able to do something.
