I kept loads of notes and course books up in the attic for God Knows how many years. I kept saying 'I might want to refer to those one day'. One day some years ago I slung the whole lot into the 'paper and cardboard' recycling skip at the local tip.

I can honestly say I never gave them another thought since :D.

Like most of the world, these days if I need to find something out, I use Tinternet.

We all need to be firmer about the 'just in case' junk we keep - without exception I've never regretted any of the stuff I've thrown away. If I ever think about the stuff at all, it's with gratitude that it's no longer cluttering up the place.

Now, if I could only get OH to throw out his mountain of junk, we'd be getting somewhere ...... but I must set a better example myself first :o.

Well done on getting rid of the notes - like P&F says, I've never missed mine.

    Thanks ladies. :)

I've still got books in the attic. :o they are slowly going down though. :)
Still battling away with the clutter. :)

Well done jwil, you seem so organised. I've still got loads to list but lacking motivation a bit at the moment.
I am still busy kondo' ing the house...well, I've made a start. So I want to get my house in order ASAP and then I might be able to see the wood for the trees.
I sorted out a bag of stuff for charity/clothes recycle box last night.
I got rid of 4 new toiletry items to a school tombola. So I'm definitely getting rid of some stuff. :)

Tc has been posting in the Kondo thread so I guess she's ok.

Well, I have been unavailable for a while due to unforeseen circumstances.
Now we are trying to find a new sense of normal.
So, hopefully over the next week or so I will be setting new goals and objectives. I might even start a new diary, new diary-new start. :)
