Put a colour on my hair last night-to hide the grey! :(
Hair dye came out of last months food budget-2 for £11, so that's £5.50 each. If I had gone to the hairdressers it would have cost over £30. I haven't put the difference away as I can't afford to. :o
My hair does desperately need a trim but I'm hoping to get someone a lot cheaper than going to town to get it done.
Three haircuts ago, it cost £52 for a wash cut and blow dry  that was the year before last. Last year I found a hairdresser who comes to the house (it's her 2nd job) and it cost £20-including a fiver to apply a hair dye I had bought. She was busy last time I asked so I went to a different hairdresser and it cost £20 for a wash cut and blow dry. So I really need to find someone else who is good but cheaper. I haven't had my hair cut for 6 months. :o
Done some jobs for Mr tc this morning and not sure if I'm working or not this afternoon.

Hi Tatty cath, have been reading your diary for a wee while and enjoying your journey,

i have the same issue with hairdressers, i found one that i actually liked the job she did a few years ago but couldnt afford the £50 for a cut and blow dry or the £110 for a cut colour and blow dry, so am still on the search for the right one

Hi ramnorth. thanks for popping over. :j
I can colour my hair myself-fortunately, but I wouldn't risk trying to cut it myself. I once 'trimmed' my fringe. obviously if trimmed when wet it bounces up when dry and I had a couple of weeks with a tragically short fringe. :o never again. :rotfl:
I used to go to T&G's but it is an expense I can do without. So I hope to find someone who comes to the house (as I've been told they are cheaper as their overheads are lower). Fingers crossed.
This afternoon I decided to get stuck into some baking so I have made h0bn0bs ...nothing else...for a change. So I made over 100 of them. :D :rotfl:
    Now having a chill.
I managed to get my list written.
I got washing put away and 2 loads of washing on-I delegated it to DD who was sat doing nothing. :) she also sorted DW out. :) bless her. :T:beer:
I've done some baking. Vacuuming will wait until tomorrow, as will listing. :)

    100 hob nobs, wow! :T

I haven't been to the hairdressers for years, I get DH to cut mine :o Hope you find somewhere soon. Have you got anywhere you could get a student cut? They are usually cheaper.

Just a heads up. I've had a message on eBay from eBay saying that from May (can't remember date) private sellers will be given 20 free listings a month-either auction or buy it now!
Just checked it's from 13th May and you can also schedule up to 20 listings a month free!
