Hi Partmouse - glad you're doing ok. All fine with me, not sure when I am OV this month. On CD14 today, think the line got darker yest on the OPK but will know for sure this evening. Someone said on here that the OPK's can be unreliable when you take clomid and to BD from 12-14 (as per the FS instructions) so that is what we are doing.
Its annoying that I am not having any blood tests or scans. The consultant told me doc he wants me to give clomid a go for 3 cycles without any bloods or scans being done. So how do I know if its working (apart from the obvious BFP...!)
Team - I guess I must be lucky - so SE here with Clomid x0 -
Littleme - I would seriously question what your GP has told you. Find out which consultant has said that and phone their secretary. What is the point in taking drugs when you have no way of monitoring if they are working! Clomid can be dangerous.
Also, telling you to assume ov on CD12-14 is daft. I ov'ed between CD16 and 18 on my various clomid cycles - for others it happens sooner or later.
Edit: I just read you've only been trying for 10 cycles. Have you had any other testing? HSG, SA's bloods etc?14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -
TL I'm waiting to start injections after trying clomid and tamoxafin so not on anything atm.I do tend to get se from everything though, bluegh.
Little me, I to would question it you can deffo ov later in the cycle, imo you should be moinitered on clomid aswell, doesn't sound very fair how different people have such different experiences of treatment.

Congratulations Kynthia.
Afm still waiting for ov but had dominos for dinner and my ibs is flaring up today so hoping it's not today. Swollen, bloated belly does not make me feel sexy!!Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

Hi, that's what I thought, but apparently this is his new way of starting before a referral is made.
Yes we have had lots of tests. I have had CD2 bloods and 3 x 7dpo tests done - I am borderline low each time on progesterone. I have pretty regular cycles. I have also had an internal/external scan done which showed physically all is fine. DP has had his SA and he is fine.
Its following all these tests which started in April that we started the clomid this cycle.
I just knew when we went to the doctor in april that something was not right with me and the tests proved that unfortunately. I am pelased this has been picked up sooner rather than later as I am in my early 30's and my DP is 45 xxx0 -

I am doing the OPK's too. The doc said to go every other day from CD10 until we get a + on the OPK. We have done CD10, 12 and 13. Will see what the OPK says tonight before giving it another go this evening. I did think I should be monitored on clomid but I've been told not for the first 3 cycles x
I only said BD on 12-14 as someone here said that is what their FS said x0 -
Congratulations Kynthia!!!
Hi all,
Am starting clomid too, even thou my bloods were borderline (I thought they were fine and in range)
Have too had no further tests being done during my 3 cycles worth. Only homework is to choose a unit if it comes to it.0 -
little me I hope you get a + soon on the opk.
Code sorry to hear your ibs is playing up, Hope the bloated feeling goes soon for you.

Well, after feeling lousy this morning, after my cup of coffee I've done loads of things I wasn't planning on doing! Washed the dishes, swept the kitchen (broke a glass, so that was kind of forced), vacuumed downstairs, took quite a few things out to the garage, on my second load of laundry, and I ironed 5 of DH's work shirts! Who am I today?! To be fair on the ironing, it's a new iron, so it's much the same as a new toy in that I absolutely *must* play with it for a bit.
To those who have completed the CBFM trial and received your vouchers, how long was it between when you sent off your monitor and when your vouchers arrived? I know that they have my paperwork and such, received an e-mail from them two days ago for that. I want my sewing machine darn it! :rotfl:0 -
I haven't had my vouchers yet, I haven't even had any sort of acknowledgment email. I returned the CBFM and paperwork about three weeks ago I think.0
