Thank you all. It might be an Isle of Wight baby so hubbie is trying to think of related names.

Tia86 - not bad for 2 week old Shellac nails. :)

Catloverbex - I know how you feel. In my head though I knew a year was normal as my friend with 3 children took over 18 months for her first. Also my younger cousin who gave birth this month was dtd 3 times daily and still took a year!

I guess I'll move boards at the weekend. Scary.
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!

    Hello Mrs T M

If you could add me that would be great thanks.

Do you need any other info?

Have put you on there! :)

    Congrats Kynthia! :j

Come on ladies, we still have the rest of today and two more days for bfps! We need more!

AFM: CD1. Ugh. Tempted to tell DH that we are going to bd every day from cd10-cd20. The look on his face will be priceless! :rotfl: I'm going to start back temping this cycle. I'm really concerned that my weight is keeping me from conceiving, but there isn't much more I can do than I already am! They couldn't do the TTG blood test yesterday because they hadn't even updated my file to say I needed one, much less to have the doctor fill out the form for it. Supposed to call next week and see if anything has changed. I think I'm going to sit on my rear today and cross stitch and play video games. The dirty dishes, vacuuming and laundry can go do one today.

Congratulations kynthia :) wow we've had a really good end to the month.

Well I "think" AF has arrived finally after 65 days, but its not normal (tmi follows!) It's really watery and kind of like brown water, but guessing it'll get heavier.

Can I please be updated to cd 1 please?

Feel abit disappointed as now the doc is more then likely just going to put it down to me missing a month, but I feel its more then that.

That might be worth trying. This month we BD every day from days 12 - 19 guided by CBFM re high and peak and it worked! :)

    :j Congrats Kynthia!

Have updated that for you. I'm thinking about looking into buying a mooncup soon. I have two sample thingies that are like a mooncup, just not reusable, so I'll be trying those this time around and if I like them, I'll get a reusable one. Seems that this may be one of the good luck charms used by a few of our last graduates! :rotfl:

I'm being really bad today. I'm eating leftover chips from DH's dinner from last night and drinking chocolate coffee for breakfast. Does anyone else ever feel very nauseated on their first day or two of AF?

Congrats Kynthia - so pleased for you. What a fantastic end to the month.

Thanks for doing the lists MrsTM and sorry for CD1. And you too LouLou but am glad things are moving again and hopefully you can have a more normal cycle now.

Becs how many highs have you had? I had 9 before a peak. I read stiff on google about people getting pregnant with only highs and no peaks. I used opks as well as the monitor.

Thanks Claire - I am on CD20 and this is my 13th day of HIGH :eek: . I can't really think a peak is still coming as my usual cycle length is 28/29 days? Trouble is, I have no idea when (or even if) I OV - I was hoping the CBFM would help me with that. I get no EWCM at all. Funny how I'd never even heard of EWCM 2 months ago and now I'm crazily looking out for some and being disappointed that something's not right because I don't have any - crazy I know.

Help! I can't remember whether I'm supposed to only take inositol up to the point of ov (like you do with agnus castus) or all through the whole cycle. Anyone know?

Squirrel - glad things went ok at the doctor.

Loulou - hope you get answers about your cycle soon. Have you had a blood test?

Thanks for taking on the list Mrs T_M.

Claire - have you considered going down the weight lifting, protein shake route to gain an extra 0.5 bmi points. It's all nonsense. I tend to come in at the higher end of the points scale, even at my thinnest because I am amazonian (in the non 3 breasted sense). I'm of good Celtic (soft c) peasant stock designed for working in the tattie fields and popping out babies and feeding babies. The child-bearing hips in particular mock me. But we're alp different. Bigger ladies than me have no trouble getting pregnant, older women than me get pregnant easily and I'm pretty sure lighter women than you manage too so they shouldn't be so hung up on BMI unless it's putting your life at risk.

    Still no sign of OV.

Yeah if I need to that's what I might have to do & DH can show me how, as otherwise the rubbish I have to eat I'm concerned I'm gonna end up with blocked arteries or something!

Yes that's how my SIL is built. See I have child bearing hips but its like the top part of me is a different size! My friend guessed my weight the other day and she guessed I was 1.5 stones heavier than I actually am. She weighs about 2/3 stone more than me but were only about 1 clothing size different.

And yes I have a friend/acquaintance whose bmi most definitely is smaller than mine & she's on baby no.5!

And like you say some ladies are older than us and get pregnant fast. It seems to be luck of the draw over anything else.

Congratulations kynthia! That's great. I feel a sense of satisfaction when I hear someone has tried for a little while that yes bding actually does get you pregnant!

Same as if someone uses clomid or something - it's nice to know these things actually work!

Angel treats I'd like to know that too! I've been having it in a drink each morning.

Thanks for doing the lists mrs tm.

Becs you could try taking cough syrup or drinking grapefruit juice supposed to be good for ewcm. I only get it once a month.

I had a few months where I had almost none at all. I found that the cough syrup did help. You need to make sure it's one containing Guaifenesin as the active ingredient. Robitussin has it but lots of cheaper brands do too, I used this own brand one from Boots. But other months I've had loads - this month I had enough to share (sorry TMI!). Apparently drinking lots of water helps as well.
