Hey ladies
Just wanted to say thanks for thinking of me yesterday it was a crummy day (although the good news on this thread gave me a reason to smile) got my results back from the worlds most insensitive receptionist (me: im calling for my blood test results please . her: your not pregnant any more) but they didn't come as any surprise so we've been given the all clear to try again
Onwards and upwards ladies
Hugs to all0 -

Thanks for all the replies earlier ladies.. Doc wasn't worried and found a slight tear. Still had to have the dreaded examination though just in case....
Can relax now - although i'm in the 2 week wait now so how relaxed I'll be I don't know!!
Have heard some really positive news that a friend of mine who's also got PCOS and has been trying for years has just got her BFP - so I have more hope today than usual!!!0 -
I'm glad your doctor managed to find a something squirrel I'm sure that'll be the reason rather than anything sinister. It's no fun having a stranger knocking on your back door but glad it's sorted now, lovely news about your friend too x
Thanks tinks
And thanks mrs t m for taking on the lists too x0 -
Hello Mrs T M
If you could add me that would be great thanks.
Do you need any other info?Baby on board - EDD 29th Sept0 -
Glad it worked out ok squirrel.
Thanks for doing the lists Mrs t m
Thanks for all your comments about my missing periods, I'm guessing the doc properly won't do much, although as I have "mild" pcos I'm hoping they will take it a bit more seriously - especially as its never effected my periods before.
My bloating on my stomach is really obvious too, one of the clients at my work today referred to me as the "short one with the big tummy" - thanks! But I've not gained any weight - I look about 6 months pregnant.
When others of you have missed periods have you had pmt type symptoms or just nothing on the months without AF? As I've had the sore boobs, mood swings etc I normally get before AF but then nothing happens. My boobs are still sore now...0 -
*lurks*
My BMI is 18 and I struggle to gain weight. I don't see people in my position much so hugs I know how hard that is too. I have a very high metaoblism (can't spell). I hope you get your BFT very soon

Clair16c and Samtoby. Had the same problem low BMI and people think you're joking when you tell them you'd like to gain weight but can't. My mum was the worst. Prob thinking behind our back we're hiding a eating disorder etc. My BMI was about 18 for the last 2 years after DS was born. Now suddenly it's changed again and although I don't eat more and nothing else has changed I gained 6 pounds and am now just 19. Maybe just metabolism and age. Hopefully things work out soon for you.
Can I please be updated to 1DPO, had a temp rise today and day 14/15for OV sounds about right as in my last cycles. Now on to the TWW and a hopefully longer LF than just 10 days.
Thank you for doing the list Mrs_T_M. Not sure how I'll get my chart up.
Is that link ok
It just annoys me because they use bmi as this blanket tool but it only works for the average person. And I am not average I honestly think I just must have light bones or something plus I have thin arms and legs but I have a size 10 bum & hips it just refuses to go elsewhere, so its not like I'm a size 0 or something! I'm quite happy with how I am - although it would be great if fat went on my boobs lol
So although for the 'average' person being 18 might be 'underweight' for me it's normal. I mean my sister in law is my height but she would look ill at my weight, & i couldnt get to hers if i tried, we are all different.
Plus I don't know if you saw these guys at Cambridge uni think that the bmi is skewed for talk or short people - I.e if you're tall you should be able to be bigger without your bmi being 'overweight' and vice versa for shorter. And on their chart I am actually 18.5 I think! I live in hope of the nhs adopting it!
I did read on a forum one lady had a dr who wrote a letter to the fertility clinic to say she was naturally 'underweight' and was perfectly healthy but some drs just don't understand and I'm worried it could affect me when I know my weight is fine as they have such strict rules. But it seems ridiculous to me that they can be so fussy over 0.5 of a point! I even read one thing that said they might not treat you unless it's 19 & there is simply no way that will happen. Which seems silly as its supposed to be 18.5?? Who makes this stuff up!
I mean I got pg before so clearly if I was malnourished or something that wouldn't have happened!!
Rant over.
Lou Lou I think you should go back the drs if the bloating is really that bad that sounds awful & scary.
Squirrel glad you're ok!
Purcy sorry for the insensitive receptionist!
Becs how many highs have you had? I had 9 before a peak. I read stiff on google about people getting pregnant with only highs and no peaks. I used opks as well as the monitor.
Think I'm going to pee on one of my new clear blue sticks tomorrow but I was going to try to hold out til the weekend as I don't feel like near ov yet.0 -
Read back a few pages to catch up, purcy hope you have had a better day today. Squirrel glad it went ok at the doctors.
Big thanks Mrs T M for taking on the lists
Had a surprise pregnancy announcement at work from someone I am friendly with, there has been loads of pregnancies at work in the last year and once again people made the joke about what seat is and not to sit in it - managed to keep quiet during that conversation.0 -
Squirrle glad to hear things went ok at the dr's.
Purcy hugs for the insensitive comments.
Mrs TM thanks for taking on the lists.
Sorry iv'e been awol, been feeling really low.stupid depression.
xx0 -
Squirrel - glad things went ok at the doctor.
Loulou - hope you get answers about your cycle soon. Have you had a blood test?
Thanks for taking on the list Mrs T_M.
Claire - have you considered going down the weight lifting, protein shake route to gain an extra 0.5 bmi points. It's all nonsense. I tend to come in at the higher end of the points scale, even at my thinnest because I am amazonian (in the non 3 breasted sense). I'm of good Celtic (soft c) peasant stock designed for working in the tattie fields and popping out babies and feeding babies. The child-bearing hips in particular mock me. But we're alp different. Bigger ladies than me have no trouble getting pregnant, older women than me get pregnant easily and I'm pretty sure lighter women than you manage too so they shouldn't be so hung up on BMI unless it's putting your life at risk.
Still no sign of OV.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0
