Hugs Betty, I watched that too, it was sad but happy in the end. Its mostly sad that the lady thought it was something she'd done.0

I'm about to chuck away yet another empty bottle of that stuff which is depressing. Really hope I'm pregnant during the duration of the next bottle as I bought it in America when I found out I was pregnant & it's got 250 tablets in it & cost a b£&(; fortune!0 -
Congratulations hopelass xx0

Warning, I'm really down again and I'm irritated for no reason. This is probably going to be a rambling post if you want to skip it.
Been spotting since ov, which is really starting to bother me. It has been heavy enough for a panty liner and I've worn a pad today (really light spotting, just a lot of it). It's pinkish brown btw. I'm experiencing anger/irritation over the smallest things as well. Tried making cupcakes. They turned out like crispy cookies. Tried cleaning a few candle holders I found in someone's recycling and I ended up ruining DH's saucepan, so the money I made from a doll I made is going to replace that. The rabbits have been trying to build a nest/digging/pulling up the carpet/really really getting on my nerves today as well. I feel like I'm freezing and I feel like I cannot eat enough to be satisfied. If AF is just trying to be a rear end this month and playing with me, I'm definitely going to go through at least one bottle of wine when she shows, just to try and forget how many stupid things I've done this month and as a way to try and forget about the mental break down I had recently. I've given up on losing weight. DH is taking me to the GP about it, but I'm skeptical that they will be able to do anything that can help.
Again, sorry about the complaining and rambling.0 -
Congratulations hopeslass.
Hoping I'll be successful too as I've also been making an effort to cut down on caffeine. Unlikely this cycle though, although why is that DH gets amorous when I'm on the 2ww and not when I'm oving? :rotfl::rotfl:
We've been decluttering the house this weekend and we were doing the spare room earlier and DH looked around and said "Yup, think there's room for 2 cots in here". 2 cots??!! _pale_Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
CONGRATULATIONS Hopelass!!!!
:j:j:jHi MSM, horrible to see you over here but welcome, hope your stay is short, lots of ladies get pg first cycle after mc as you're more fertile supposedly
With mc bleeding you count cd1 from the last day, not the first day. That's because whilst you're still bleeding you're likely to still have pregnancy hormones and your body won't start gearing up for ov until they're gone x x
AFM, got loads of EWCM yesterday, still negative OPKs, think my cycle is shot at the moment. Haven;t BD so no chance for us this cycle, just want AF to come so I can move on. Wish I knew what was going on with the OPKs. DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Awww, there are so many ladies on here that I wish I lived closer to so I could just give you a big *real* hug. I'm out this month, cramps, spotting, terrible skin and bloating as well as a huge temperature dip so the vino is opened... feel free to join
I hasten to add that I'm not drinking on a school night, this is my weekend thanks to weird shifts.
I'm glad I don't watch Call the Midwife... am on a treatment dose of Folic Acid as the mood stabilisers for my bipolar massively increase the risk of spina bifida. I've not taken them since before we started trying (with psychiatrist approval), but if I became unwell then there's a risk they'd over-rule my wishes and prescribe them during pregnancy. DH and I had specific information / counselling / support before TTCing so we're both well aware of the risks and are doing all we can to minimise them...0 -
Evening Ladies,
Hopelass - Congratulations. Good Luck with the pregnancy and for a happy healthy baby:j:beer:
Tinks - Lovin' the Love hearts.
Mrs TM - Hopefully those anoying hormones are the pregnancy kind and not the af kind. Have you ever had spotting like that at this point in your cycle?
Claire - Just coming to the end of another bottle of folic acid too but I think I am going to go back to pregnacare tablets so I get the other vitamins too.
TL - There should be a special corner on here for when our OH say and do thoughtless stuff or are unsupportive. I guess we all experience it at some point of the journey.
BZ - Good Luck BZ. I have got my fingers crossed for you. There is going to be a big virtual party when you get knocked up. The dedication you have shown is an inspiration to us all during our low points.
Amy - How did you manage to persuadeyour OH to give up the ciggs? I would love my OH to quit. He says he will when I get pregnant but can you imagine him going through nicotine withdrawl and me with raging hormones.....0 -
Mrs TM hopefully you will feel better tomorrow & you just had a bad day today.
Code- lol maybe it's a premonition of twins??
Firefly - I can't swallow those pregnacare ones plus they're expensive I think I'd just buy a multi vitamin I'm terrible with tablets. I don't know what your OH's mind set is like but if he wants a child as much as you I'd be saying youd never forgive yourself if you got pregnant next month & then you had an ill child you'd always wonder if you could have prevented it. My BIL has started using electronic ones. Unfortunately he only decided to quit once his kids are practically school age & so already have health problems from it!! Although thankfully nothing like cancer.0 -

He was supposed to do it a while ago (when I gave up harmful medications) so that we BOTH knew we were doing all we could for a healthy pregnancy... as it happened circumstances such as changing job, his sister becoming seriously unwell and other stressors prevented it 'sticking', but I believe he's serious now and I think that me explaining how his lack of effort made me feel was instrumental to it. It's probably different for us than most other couples as I've also given up something which makes me feel significantly better and was very difficult to stop, so he didn't have an excuse to say that I don't know how it feels. I think it's a case of putting your foot down (as a couple / family) and saying that your collective health comes first.
I don't have rose-tinted glasses, and I think expecting someone to stop immediately because you've asked them to is unrealistic, but if they're unwilling to start trying when you've explained how much it means to you then there may be an underlying problem. I don't want to make you feel bad because I think there's a bit of a stigma to admitting you're not the 'perfect' couple when it comes to TTCing, i.e. weight, smoking, previous addictions, mental health issues, etc... but I think you're right; waiting to stop smoking when your OH is pregnant is a recipe for stress, difficulties and possible failure. Even if he doesn't stop completely now, cutting down before you're expecting will make life (and conceiving) better and healthier for you both :grouphug:
*I'm going to stop being annoying and preachy now, sorry*0
