Hope baby will be ok Trina, a friend of a friend had her little girl around the same point and she's doing great now x

Feel guilty now, came on her to say how upset I was to not be pg again, especially as ny dh' s reaction was 'be reet' redemptions 'if it doesn't happen then oh well' ans I'm living in a house full of baby things to rib salt into the wound but my pity party will quietly leave now lol x x

    Hey everyone,

Feeling a bit brighter today and things are more settled (and tidy) in the Foo household so going to attempt another epic post before getting on with some more OU work. So, here goes:

T2D - As I so rudely missed you out last time, my first thoughts are with you. Hope you're recovering well and that your OH is taking good care of you. Time to indulge in all the chocolate and wine you desire!
    Hopelass -
    :T:j:T:j:T:j:T:j:T:j:T:j:T:j:T

    Congratulations!!!

    :T:j:T:j:T:j:T:j:T:j:T:j:T:j:T
Wishing you all the best for your pregnancy and birth :) I hope we all see you soon over on t'other boards...

lilmissmup - Hope you're okay, enjoy the wine and chocolate zone and hope this is your last AF for a good long time ;)

TeamLowe - Giant, splendidly dodgy hugs to you. You're as entitled to be miffed and / or low as the rest of us, and more than some (including me :o). It must be very hard to live with baby things without being pg / having a newborn, sorry that your OH isn't as sympathetic you'd like, men just don't get it in the same way. Sorry for spotting :( You can always come on here for hugs and sympathy :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Trina - There was a baby at work born at 29+5 on Thursday, and when I left yesterday they were already talking about LO not needing respiratory support and both Mum and Dad were free to have cuddles :) It's amazing how strong LOs are, and how much we can do for them these days - if they're born between 27 and 30 weeks gestation then more than 95% of babies will survive. I hope your friend's baby makes a full and fast recovery, and is soon at home with her Mummy :)

TACOD - Red Bush tea before bed is amaaazing, I'm a convert!

Angeltreats - How awful for your friend, but it's great that she's keeping up her PMA. It's amazing the difference that sympathetic (and competent) doctors can make.

Zippy - I hope it's just a shy BFP, although I feel lots of us could do with QQ's wagging finger this month :o

Tink - Big hugs :grouphug: Your projects are always lovely, I think I may have to place an order for a new flower brooch (have a new coat that needs livening up ) - look out for my order on Facebook. Hope you get some fabulous news soon and things look up in 2013.

Afm - DH has officially quit smoking and we've spent a big chunk of today cleaning the house :D He's grumpy as sin, but I've much improved my mood...
  • I have just POAS at 7dpo so I hope that makes you feel a little better :o. I am clearly a lunatic! I've been SSing like a crazy woman (my temps have gone up a little, my bbs are sore and I have cramps all things I had last month except for the temp rise- last month it went down straight after ov- so am clearly not preg)... I think I just enjoy torturing myself! :naughty:

Ha ! That does make me feel better, thankyou for admitting that !! Why do we do it to ourselves ey ??

Hopelass - any symptoms ?? i love a good round of symptom spotting i do
  • Thanks Amy! I hope to see you all too on the next boards - too scared to go there yet :o

PommeVerte - the only symptom/abnormality I had before missed AF was REALLY loud rumbling stomach!! Only when OH said "that's not normal, are you preggers?" (and the cat gave me evils) Did I think about it (and of course Google it, which obviously confirmed it is a symptom :rotfl:).

Just before AF was due I felt irritable and tearful for no apparent reason but thought they could also be symptoms of AF (I was very controlled with ssing this month!)

Around time of AF being due I had cramps which were quite strong and woke me up at night but they somehow felt different than normal cramps - actually stronger than normal hence I didn't test until today (5 days after missed AF) just in case.

Thank you all again for your good wishes - I will continue to lurk for a little while yet :o if that's ok!

    Hugs to all xx
First baby due October 2013 :j
  • I've just been watching Call the Midwife and been in floods of tears. It was about a baby with spina bifida this week. I want to go out and buy folic acid tablets right now...
  • Hello there,
    Those are lovely tinks :-)
Amy glad things are better today, sometimes you need a big blowout to clear the air
Trina I really hope everything is ok for the little girl and her parents, it must be very scary for them
Hugs TL it totally sucks. It will happen though, it really will!
I've been such a grump today, working full time and trying to start a business from scratch is hard! Looking forward to my last Monday though! I'm really really hungry too, I always get that in the 2ww I just want to eat *everything* and have seconds!

If you're trying for a baby, you should be taking folic acid anyway!
