Trying for a Baby Part 9

Another one who's sorry for being absent for a lot of the last month. Could I be updated to CD1 on the list please? Had my longest cycle in a very long time as well, which got my hopes up. Had BFN yesterday then af showed up this morning (the cowbag!). Means I can start playing with the Clearblue monitor for the trial now though.
Heard from my consultant about the cyst growing and she's happy for us to keep trying as it's still under 5cm and hasn't got any dodgy bits in it. She stressed the importance of getting pregnant asap (if only it was that easy...) so we'll be doubling our efforts this month with the use of the monitor. Seeing her in a few months time to see how things are going.
Sorry it's a bit of a self centred post - going for a read through now to catch up on everyone else's news!Hold my hand harder

Littleme82 - how many days before AF was the blood test taken? It's supposed the be 7 days before otherwise the progesterone reading won't be at its peak? I had samples taken on CD22, 23 and 25 to make sure I caught the peak, so maybe your doctor will get you to retake it?Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0

I think it's 7 days after ovulation (that's what I was told) as I had to go on CD33... Maybe that's wrong though. My results came back borderline low too.0 -

My cycles range between 25-30 days. I tend to get a peak on my CBFM between days 13-17. I have been temping too. On the 3 months that I have temped the whole month you can see a low temp with a huge spike and then the temp stay high above the coverline.
I really did think this month we had done it. I ov on my second peak day and about 36 hours after my first + opk. I took the graphs to the doctor and she said it appears that I ov.
Today she says that my body could be gearing up which is why i get the temp shift etc but I'm not actually ov.
I said to her on the phone, why are there women and girls out there who walk round with pushchairs with cigarettes, no jobs or father around yet women like us who would give anything cant conceive x

Oh I know it's infuriating.
I was under the impression you can ovulate but then have low progesterone levels which is why some people use progesteronr creams etc. I don't think it means you definitely didn't ovulate. After all if the level didn't rise and you don't ovulate I don't think your temp would go up. I think if you fear up to ovulate you get the positive opk but no temp rise.Claire I might be wrong but not sure GPs can/will prescribe clomid xx
I'm not sure either if they can or not read conflicting stuff, but I'm going to say what can you give me to make me ovulate I.e clomid and just see what they suggest. If I have to be referred and tests & all that that's fine but may as well get the process started! I just want to make them I'm aware of something is wrong & I won't be fobbed off or told to relax or bd lots, etc!0 -
Hi, I'm new, and I think we're TTC #3! As strange as it sounds I am completely new to this as #1 and #2 were pleasant surprises rather than planned. I only had my implant taken out last week and we're being quite casual at the moment. Again, as strange as it sounds, I'm nervous about expanding the family! Look forward to chatting x____________________________________________

Claire I think you are definitely right in getting referred now, get the process started. Just didn't want you to get your hopes up as find it really disappointing!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140

Oh no worries. I feel ok in that however long it takes to get referred I may well have some relatively normal cycles Im just worried as this one and the last have been so weird its been the push I need to see someone, plus they cant blame it on the pill which I know they would have done if Id gone in the year before I got pregnant.
Plus Ive had two normal cycles before these, since the miscarriage, so they cant blame it on that either. So I feel like its the right time to go. Ive just printed off ALL my ff charts to show them! They will love me :rotfl:0 -
I so hope it's positive for you. And that you don't need any extra help
There is nothing worse than kak cycles that leave you knowing you haven't even got a chance xxFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140
