Got struck down by a nasty lurgy this weekend and spent most of Saturday talking to ralf on the porcelain telephone yuk not my idea of a good weekend.

Teaandcake - just a quick one as I'm late for work but just wanted to reassure that antidepressants do not affect ability to adopt. My friend was asked to foster a baby by social services (long story) and she had tried to commit suicide in her teens and had been on antidepressants ever since. She later adopted the foster baby with full support from social services. I know we hear horror stories about good people being refused permission to adopt but I don't think this is always the case.

AFM, was advised by a nurse to take another HPT once the bleeding had stopped, so just did a clearblue using FMU and it says "Not pregnant" am thoroughly confused?! Not sure if positive was inaccurate due to "AF" or maybe I was PG but I've lost it (is that a "chemical pregnancy"?) Feeling very sick and emotional, not helped by fact I hardly slept last night.

Hope we all get our Happy Endings soon xx

Sorry AF arrived TL, have a great holiday though!

Not much happening here apart from yet another ugly outbreak of spots. They seem to arrive the week before OV then again the week after! Grrr, I miss my flawless skin.

Sorry was too knackered yesterday to catch up on the posts but I'll try today at lunch break. Not my day today. AF finally arrived although I'm not sure how to count it as I had brown discharge since 11 dpo and today would be 13dpo = CD1???? Also had a trapped nerve in my back for two days, getting the cold and the house is a tip as I couldn't be bothered on the weekend.

Oh well, new week and new start. I should prob start temping again to know better where I am and to when when/if AF comes rather than getting my hopes up if it's just brown discharge for two days.

Oh no I'm so sorry to hear that. Yes it could be a 'chemical' or very early miscarriage as you were quite far after AF due date when you got your bfp.

Maybe try another test brand tomorrow morning though just incase as I think clearblue is the least sensitive?

AF can not give bfps, only the pregnancy hormone can.

Me too. I hate getting sports all the time. And to make it worse usually I use them as an ov sign but last week got loads and then ov never came!!

hi all

well cycle two of trying using cbfm. last month low and high readings.. this time.. now cd17 and nothing other than low... hubbie been ill with flu.. done the deed a couple of times.. so seriously annoyed.. feel like why no high on monitor yet and grrrrrrr.....

i know i need to be more positive.. there is always next month...
