Alice31- nothing was said as to how long the mask is for, my dread is that it's for the foreseeable future as my tonsils are also adding to my breathing problems... as the consultant put it "I have a fine pair" so having them removed could help but i'm an absolute wimp with hospitals and needles (and here's me wanting a baby haha) so i'm opting for the mask for the time being.

That's one of the upsides Code haha, i'll be the best Darth Vader in the NW!!

Faith2009uk Welcome aboard! Hope you're not here for too long.... in the nicest possible way haha

Becca, i hope things aren't too awful today with DH's friends and baby

    Morning ladies

I woke my hubby up nice and early this morning so he got the maximum benefit from his hangover lol. Things are ok now and last nights argument is forgotten about.

Still no AF for me, so looks like I'm in for another messed up cycle (or much less likely I am pregnant....) if its the former it seems a definate indication to me my pcos is getting worse. As in past I've been pretty regular.

Codemonkey - sorry to hear that, fingers crossed AF stays away.

Emylou - hope everything is ok and the bean remains nicely in place.

loulou, lets hope yours is the bracketed option.

AF is on her way to me sadly. I think I need to stop kidding myself otherwise. And DH is a moron. I said to him yesterday that I was sad that it didn't work again and he said "But it's only the first month we've been trying". This despite the fact, we've not been using contraception for the past 3 years or the fact that we've been actively ttc for about 2 years (not really sure - could be more) but the fact that this is the first time I've told him I'm ovulating obviously means this is our first month trying. Grrr. I wonder if I can get Sky Sports News to impart useful information to him as he clearly doesn't listen. :rotfl::rotfl:

Then later on I said that his mum better like our future dog as it might be the only "grandchild" she gets from us and he said "Stop talking like that. It makes my balls retract into my body".

Codemonkey - I think men are just in a "different place" to us when ttc, as you wouldn't no my hubby was remotely bothered 99% of the time by our difficulties, but I no he is....maybe he just said that to make you feel better?

Becca what made you decide to do that? I guess as you are now having regular cycles you will get more use! I used to have it when I first started temping I think I got a 3 month upgrade. Then once I knew what I was doing went back to the free one.

Code how frustrating. I think the one good thing to take from this month is that you know next cycle your DH is cooperating which he wasn't necessarily before so I'm hopeful if you keep at it at the right time it should happen - I know you've been trying for ages but I'm now starting to only count cycles where we did it at least once or twice within 1 day of ov. I don't feel like I have a chance otherwise I know they say sperm can live for a few days but I reckon that's only with the exact right cm etc

When I got pg everything was perfectly timed. Ewcm, then a positive opk, ov and lots of bding. Hence now when I get a cycle with weird opks & cm I figure I'm out before its even ended :(

    Hugs for you TL.

I'm hitting the Pepsi max now, as I have no reason to avoid caffeine. :j:j

I am now 10 days until AF due :-)

We BD'd one day after I got my :) face on my ovulation tester and we had BD's the two days before. We didn't do it on the day of the smiley face.

But an odd thing happened the day after the :) face.
I had almost like period pain in the early evening - must have been about 7pm - 9pm on Friday night. I read online that this could be the pain related to the egg releasing from the ovary. I don't know if its because I am so concious of my cycle and everything relating to it. Does anyone else get that?

I am worried we didn't BD on the day of my :) face but to be fair if we had it the two days before and the day after that might be enough. Maybe.
