Love that website!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Hugs to all CD1ers. Might be joining you tomorrow. Only had brown discharge the last two days but turning a bit more red now. Still only when I wipe. It's quite an unusual longwinded start of AF so was getting my hopes up but I'm sure it'll start proper soon. Next month is out too as we'll be staying at friends in two weeks unless we get some BD done just before. HeyhoDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250

I'm sorry but this made me laugh out loud. I wouldn't watch it (partly because I hate Arnie) because I was too bitter that a man could get pregnant *in a film* and I couldn't *in real life*. I think I need stronger loopy pills...0 -

When you get some, send them to me please. I used to be normal!!!Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
But an odd thing happened the day after the
face.
I had almost like period pain in the early evening - must have been about 7pm - 9pm on Friday night. I read online that this could be the pain related to the egg releasing from the ovary. I don't know if its because I am so concious of my cycle and everything relating to it. Does anyone else get that?
I haven't used clear blue OPKs but I assume they would be like normal i/c OPKs and would tell you of the LH surge? If that's the case then it makes sense you're getting ovulation pains 12-36 hours after getting your positive/ smiley OPK... I get OV pains too. I think they're called mittelschmerz.
I have no idea what is going on with my cycle this month. Duo has put my 'green/ fertile. (HA) days between 15th and 22nd. I usually OV about 2 days before the end of that week. My temps are incredibly flat though. I've never had flatter temps... Not that I'm in the mood to BD anyway. Am fat and infertile so I see no point. :rotfl: (good job OH doesn't read this!)0 -
It's a sad state of affairs when you're jealous of Arnie though...
I have to go back to the GP this week and am worried that I've had the anti-depressants prescribed to me. I know that sounds stupid as maybe they could make me feel better but I've only managed to take 3 (can't be bothered...) and am stressing that now because they've been prescribed to me if I do end up going down the adoption route it would make me unsuitable... Does anyone know if this is something that would prevent you from being a suitable adopter?0 -
Teacakeordeath, I am a social worker and often look to place children for adoption, I don't work with the approval process for the parents but I can tell you I recently placed a young child with a couple where the lady had previously used antidepressants, we took the view that she was proactive at managing her health and would hopefully be more open to accessing services in the future if she needed to (being an adopter can be tough). I think there is a massive need for education for the general public many people are put off coming forward to adopt children for no good reason other than the misconception that you have to be perfect to offer a child a loving home.0

Just wanted to pop on to say a massive thank you for all your kind words of sympathy. Return hugs to those that feel the same as I was feeling. Yesterday ended up being a very dramatic day (parents had a major argument which resulted in us having to go out looking for my Dad). As if the day wasn't bad enough lol. Oh well today is a new day.
Claire - I haven't researched adoption but I know they're pretty strict and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't want us. Hubby has two children from two different relationships. For various complicated reasons he doesn't see one of them. I'm pretty sure that would be a major tick against us.
time2deal - thanks for the reassurance re: the sperm analysis.0 -
Just found out through a family members guess work someone I see each week is likely to be pregnant. I'm happy for her as she's a lovely person & few years older than me but I'm not happy about the fact that someone else is pregnant who isn't me & ill have to see the bump increasing each week when I should have a massive one right now plus ill have to sit through all the discussions about it & people feeling awkward as they all know about me. DH was like why would you care it's not a competition? I said its not about a competition it's just why is it working for other people & not us!! He didn't mean it in a nasty way but he says it just doesn't affect him like that.0
