Good morning Ladies
Big hugs for those stuggling with the green eyed
monster towards pregnant ladies and new borns, I’m struggling with it myself and sil is 6 months pregnant and have seen her twice this weekend!!
CD1 for me today. I was expecting it and it has clarified that I did ov cd10/11 following the nearly positive opk on cd10 (even though they are 20p they are obviously working!). This was early and caught me by surprise so not brilliant!
I have today bought a clear blue fertility monitor which I’ll start using Thursday/Friday due to work commitments but hopefully this machine will help us to get plenty of bd’ing in before ov unlike the 1-3 we managed this month and then continued in vain until cd19!
I’m surprisingly upbeat despite cd1 and am trying to focus on the positives:- can continue using Flabelos machine and hopefully lose a few lbs which would make me happier
- can drink alcohol on my birthday
- more time to get our new home straight (not to mention finances)
- can start taking regular painkillers for my sore bits!
Got married October 2012 :jHoping to conceive 20130 -

Emylou - so sorry about your chemical. Huge hugs.
Littleme - hugs for the 8 months. Know how rubbish that feels.
Ttc39 - no advice sorry but hugs anyway.
Claire - are you having another dodgy cycle? I get spots around ov time too - big red ones all along my jawline. It's awful. I'm supposed to be all sexy and alluring to get my panda husband interested and instead I look and behave a bit like Linda Blair in the Exorcist.
Afm nothing doing here. More spotting, more cramps (come on stupid body, .I'm 12dpo and AF isn't even due til Thursday, give me a break!!). Got a mega headache and sinus pressure and my nose keeps bleeding. Also decided to do one of my ics because I need to get back on the 5:2 wagon and DH didnt want me to if I was pregnant (kept telling him I'm not but he wont believe me til AF is here) and got another stupid evap which had me squinting at it for ages.
To make matters worse systems at work are down and it's not like I can surf the internets because they're really strict and know exactly what you're looking at so it's not like I can fill my time googling "12dpo, bfn, can still be pregnant" like the total crazy lady that I am. No codemonkey, you are not pregnant. Grrr.
Im not sure if its dodgy or Im just ovulating late. But my temps have been really weird hence me thinking it might be a dodgy one which makes me feel really down.
Your humour cracks me up so much. God how many types of stuff like that have I put into google :rotfl:
And yes spots hardly help with the bding!! So irritating. Im putting bio oil on bits of my face at night because theyre leaving scars. Then I think well Ive been off the pill for 2 years all Im left with is red marks on my face, might as well have stayed on the pill!!codemonkey wrote: »That's what I should have done but I didn't, partly because you can't make advance appointments with my GP or choose who you see. You have to phone in the morning and take whoever is available. I'm quietly cooperating with the moron (ahem doctor), obviously ignoring the stupid CD14 advice whilst trying to lose weight and feeding DH vitamins. Will go back in 5 months and will hopefully to see someone else.
Good luck. Hope your experience is better. I'm sure most GPs are more clued up than Dr Textbook-cycle-notmarriedtoapanda.
Is the 5 months your suggestion or theirs? I will bop them out with that thing you had on your previous post if they suggest that to me!
Im lucky in that I can book in advance and ask for specific dr.
The one I wanted - only because he was so nice to me after the mc, to be honest he could be rubbish with fertility Im not sure, (but I think he was the one who had common sense when I asked him for 12 months of the pill when I went travelling, whereas my sis saw someone else and they refused so she said fine would you rather I got pregnant as I think youll find that will cost the nhs a lot more than 3 more packs of pills!) was booked up a month in advance - which leads me to think hes really good, so I booked with someone else who was available tomorrow... but it could just be a case of the other one being there for longer so everyone in the areas wants him type thing.Claire I always go in knowing what I want and let them know that too. Worth a try!!
Having a horrible day am really crampy and emotional, only 7dpo!
I was thinking of relaying a long story and then ending with the sentence 'give me clomid NOW' :rotfl: I guess Ill see how it goes...Im definitely going in at the angle of I want my cycles sorting out rather than why arent I pregnant, to stop them fobbing me off with stuff like I havent tried for long enough. As Im not so worried about that, I just want a normal cycle as Im convinced it will happen then.0 -
Who uses clearblue fertility monitor?
What pattern do you have with regards to low, high, peak?
I'm using it for the first time. I had low on CD6 (first day of using the monitor) and then I've had high every day since - now on CD18.
Does that sound right?0 -
Similar thing happened to me on my first month of using it Fanny. Think it takes some time to get used to you.
Hugs for CD1 Babymad. Nice PMA!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Hi, just spoken to the doctor with the results of my 21 day test. I knew it couldnt be good when the receptionist put me through to my doctor without me even asking.
theres me thinking with the peaks on the CBFM and +on OPK that I am healthily ovulating each month - according to my bloods my progesterone is 16 - borderline low.
So this is a double whammy with CD1 and bad test results. I am at my desk wanting to cry but my colleagues dont know....ive had to blame the visits to the hospital on thyroid....
Doctor is calling me on monday to discuss the results of this wednesdays test and booked me and DP in to see her at the end of May.0 -

Hi, Ive been using it for 6 months (about to start month 7) and I sometimes have lots of highs. The first month is a bit of a suck and see month as the monitor needs to get to know you. A MSE tip - after your first peak just use old sticks as you automatically get another peak, then a high and then it goes to low so save some money

Hi all - back from my weekend away and shattered BUT sure I am showing some signs of pre ovulation! So got back just in time to bd! (Dh didn't come away) Had a lovely time though - and the weather Sat was nice. (Ill forget about all the rain we had after that!)
Sorry to read there are some people struggling at the moment. x0 -

How long are your cycles normally? When do you normally ovulate?
Do you ever temp?
I'm really sorry this journey really sucks doesn't it.0 -
Hi Claire
My cycles range between 25-30 days. I tend to get a peak on my CBFM between days 13-17. I have been temping too. On the 3 months that I have temped the whole month you can see a low temp with a huge spike and then the temp stay high above the coverline.
I really did think this month we had done it. I ov on my second peak day and about 36 hours after my first + opk. I took the graphs to the doctor and she said it appears that I ov.
Today she says that my body could be gearing up which is why i get the temp shift etc but I'm not actually ov.
I said to her on the phone, why are there women and girls out there who walk round with pushchairs with cigarettes, no jobs or father around yet women like us who would give anything cant conceive x
