Hello everyone - I'm back!
I decided to take some time away from the site as was finding the whole TTC hard going.
We've now been trying for 8 months and still nothing. I know this stuff takes time but it is disappointing each month.
We've been trying everything - from his and her vitamins, EPO, preseed, hips elevated all night and so on and the CBFM for 6 months.
I had my temp spike this morning :j so I ov on CD17. Have an appointment to see my doctor on monday. My DP is older than me and is concerned over being an older dad.
I chart using FF and know that each month we dont miss eggy.
Im glad to be back and see some names I recognise - hope everyone is well

Sorry I’ve only gone back a few pages…..
Ejecoms – congratulations on your BFP :j(ok I didn’t go far enough back to see the announcement but I saw all the congratulations so I thought I’d jump on the bandwagon)
tink – Sending you lots and lots of hugs :grouphug:
ruth26 – sorry to hear about your cyst. Hope you find out what’s going on soon.
Sapphire – congrats on AF. I remember just wishing I would have a period so that I could start a cycle.
Becca – good luck with your move
Code – good luck with the 2ww (aka period of torture)
Gelly123 – sorry for your loss
chelseablue – I just ordered a cheap one from Amazon. Amazon is good as you at least get reviews from people who have also purchased the same thing.
Littleme82 – I can empathise with TTC getting on top of you. Good luck with your appointment on Monday.
AFM – my horrible period looks like it’s nearly over (phew). I’ve started using the CBFM for the first time and today had a high. I can’t remember whether or not I reset it when I got it (its second hand) so I’m thinking that maybe I didn’t and it’s still got the previous owners cycles programmed. Oh well, this month can be my practice month and then I’ll reset it and start again next month.
My attitude towards TTC has changed recently and I think it’s because I may have ovulated last month. I’m thinking that my weight loss (which really is not huge) may have had a positive impact on my cycle and this has spurred me on to continue losing weight and has given me hope that I might start working. Previously I’ve always had it in my head that I’ll need clomid and possibly IVF but knew my weight was a major issue (which annoyingly made it harder to lose weight).
I had a small gain this week which was really annoying as I was hoping to lose but I think it’s probably because of AF. So I’m trying to eat really well to have a good loss next week. And fingers crossed for signs of ovulation again this month. I think if I ovulate two months in a row I’ll likely to combust from excitement0 -
Hi girlies (and guys)
cd6 for me please
Can I also predict 6 bfp this month (I missed the beginning as I went into hibernation)
Had some shocking news today that a girl I work with has cervical cancer and she has no children and only in her 30's. Just feel so sorry for her

Hi all
Firstly huge sympathy to Gelly for the loss of your grandad, I'm so sorryLove to you and your family.
Happy news for Ejecoms, congrats!
Becca, good luck with your house move. No matter how organised you are it's still so stressful, hope it all goes ok.
Code, hope your DH is feeling better now, poor lad! At least you managed it the day before, hopefully that'll do the trick, fingers crossed for you.
Can I predict 5 bfps for April please, sorry I'm a bit late.
I had my Bupa well woman check on Monday and the doctor turned out to be lovely and said he used to be an obsetetrician/gyenacologist but wanted to have nicer hours. I told him about the recurrent abdominal pain I've been having and that my GP was blaming it on kidney issues but he looked confused and said it wasn't anywhere near my kidneys or bladder and it was where my fallopian tube is and it's probably inflamed and needs to be sorted out. He says to not leave it too long before badgering my GP for investigations as I'm not getting any younger (33 in June). Wasn't too sure how to feel about that really.
I have to leave another urine sample up to the clinic so they can check that the kidney infection I do have is gone but will make another appointment with the doc insisting that I want this chronic pain sorted out and am not willing to go away and wait till it's been a year, because pain means that something is wrong.0 -
Glad the check went well Angel. Hope your GP is a good one and sends you for more tests.
How awful about your friend KatyHopefully by the end of her treatment there'll still be hope of her having children in the future.
Welcome back LittlemeQQ left the thread a little while ago as she's come to the end of her journey.
She still pops up from time-to-time on the 12m+ thread with support and advice though.
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
