Trying for a Baby Part 9

Got a positive OPK today (CD11) and have BD. As this is our first "proper" month trying, I am not sure how I will know if I have ovulated? FF says I could ovulate today, tomorrow or Saturday, but how will I know?

You ovulate 12-36 hours after your first positive opk, but sadly there's no way to tell when exactly that egg will jump until afterwards. You might get ov pains but not everyone does. You'll know its happened when your cm dries up. Hth.

Oh my word, a newborn baby was abandoned on a bench in my town, about 20 minutes from my office. Life seems really unfair giving a baby to someone who clearly isn't ready or able to deal with it, while some of us who are ready and have been trying forever, still aren't pregnant. Its that damn raffle prize again.

So true and I'm sick of it. Good job I'm not religious or I think I'd been insane by now as I'm always thinking that.

The other day I was reading on another post on here where people were saying the thing about 'if you wait til you're ready you'll never have kids'. That is so not true for some of us! We're ready and have been ready for ages!!

That is so sad Code Life is so unfair, both for the people who want children but can't and for the poor kids who are the products of these unwanted pregnancies and are destined for a life in care. The worst bit is that if you wanted to adopt that poor baby they'd either drag it out for years or just write you off as unsuitable!
