Awww so sorry Lily. :( On the plus side, the longer LP is a massively good thing for you so I'm sure it's only a matter of time for your body to work things out and get knocked up! :)

Congratulations Fluffysox! (you big queue jumper!) :j

ETA: Just teasing about queue jumping because you mentioned it! :o
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

  • Congratulations fluffysox :-) picture?
  • Congrats for the 2 + results ! February's off to a good start, i soooo hope i'll be joining you in 10 days !

The baby shower discussion is interesting, none of my close friends have had babies yet but i think i'd definitely organise a little get together for my best friends, but no present list, just lots of nice food and a chance to have a last girly giggle before baby arrives.

As for party bags, i always had one after a party when i was little and i remember loving them, so i think i'd do the same for my lo's parties, they must be cultural though as parents don't do them over here in France. Though there are quite a few english families around here, you can always tell the english kids outside the school as they all get dressed in sturdy (and no-iron) tesco school dresses, skirts and trousers etc. (kids don't wear uniform in france).

Massive hugs Lilymay, your LP was a good length though so that's promising

!!!!!!, wrote a big long post on my mobile which took forever and for some reason it won't post, so I'm now on my laptop.

Anyway, I was supposed to be staying away from here, but I've only managed a week!
Congratulations to COMP, Toothfairy and Fluffysox, wishing you all a healthy and problem free pregnancy.
Huge hugs abis, and also to lily for af xx

My PMA has got up and P'd off.... 3 pregnancy announcements in a week, surprisingly not via fb this time. First my sister and she's struggling to come to terms with it, then a close friend (who I suspected at Christmas) and now another cousin. Add that to my cousin who's due in about 10 weeks...and I'm the eldest of the family and also been in a relationship the longest....just feels like it will never be our turn and I'm really tearful at the moment :'(
Sorry for coming on here and just ranting but I haven't told anyone else how I feel or that we're even ttc.

Becca you're a star doing the lists and a new thread. Please can you add my age to the front page - 34 - and put me back on the other list as cd12. No idea what happened last month, spotted for over a week then had one day of af and that was it. Was about 8 days late...

    Congratulations fluffysox.

    Hugs and wine for lilymay.

Apple*pie I know exactly what you mean. Facebook is full of announcements, some from people who have only been with the father for 5 minutes. Kind of feel like I'm in a doctor's waiting room and everyone who comes in after me gets to see their doctor before me, which is great for them but sucks to be me, especially when some are on their second visit since I've been here. Hope the baby fairy hasn't forgotten me!

Feeling pretty fed up as had some ewcm when I wiped yesterday. Really hoping it wasn't delayed ov as there's been no bd action since Saturday. Tried on Monday just in case but DH wasn't interested. So guessing I'm probably out for yet another cycle. What I'd give for an OH who actually wants to BD.

Code I hope you already ovulated, but if not do you think you could persuade him to do it today, incase youre about to ovulate now?

DH just asked me when is it baby making time, I said not for another few days at least - and definitely not right now as I have a cold so Id only do it if it was for baby making purposes, not otherwise lol!

Woah! Dont think it has sunk in yet. Sorry my stay was so short but I honestly would know NOTHING about ttc if it wasn't for you ladies. You have all been so lovely and helpful and i hope none of you will be here for much longer.

    Congrats fluffysox!! :T:T:T
