Morning all. When the clear blue link first got posted I went to it on my tablet.. Couldn't see anything about trials so I read about products and ended up ordering a fertility monitor off eBay lols , still I got it cheaper than the rep and looks like they sell well when u have finished .. So I'm happy with that.

On af now, have to wait a month from last malaria tablet.. Can't decide whether to take a new packet next week or just use condoms as the monitor thingy says best to wait for 2 cycles off contraception...

I am thinking just use condoms for the 3 weeks from Monday?

Just can't wait to be "trying"

Have a good day all x

I'd just stay off the pill and use condoms Yargo. Better to get that crap out of your system sooner rather than later! :)

Becca that's a very good theory about the PCOS/Pill... scary though! :o

Lara, I think everyone agrees that it gets boring after 3 months! :p I'm kind of dreading having to BD *again* today and I've not got a peak on my CBFM yet so will have to BD tomorrow or Saturday (I'm guessing, maybe both?!) and I really CBA! :( I don't think you should have a break though as if you do end up having to go to the doctors some time down the line (obviously I really hope this isn't the case) they'll be quite unsympathetic if you've been trying on and off- the first thing my doc asked me was if OH was around all the time (i.e. not away for months on end) and we were *actually trying* every single month. :o

Tia, I agree with Claire, just stick an estimate in (my guess is to go for an 'odd' number like low 20s or mid-30s as they may want to test it on people without a perfect cycle :)) and hope for the best. :) I was contacted for the CBFM trial last year but got freaked out at having to store pots of wee to send off to them so wimped out! :p

As for the waxing... firstly OW! I've had a couple of brazilians in my time but OH MY GOD THE PAIN! Last time I was tempted to run out half done! :rotfl: Secondly, I've always been told that exfoliating is good for preventing ingrown hairs, maybe just use a flannel and give it a bit of a good rub in the shower for the first few days? :)That sounds dirtier than it is! :o

Lol Birdie! That did sound naughty, hehe.

I think you're right. Our GP practice is so busy - they just want you out the door. Once my HB had 2 things wrong with him and the GP told him he had to go and make a separate appointment for the other complaint :rotfl: I can see their eyes glazing over if I try to explain the complicated timings of BD around the PhD!!!

We are having a CBA month on the BD front as well after our diligent efforts last month. HB has got arthritis pain which makes me feel bad about trying to seduce him :o

I agree, Id come off the pill and use condoms, or just dont bd for a couple of weeks - youll be sick of bding in time to come :rotfl:God how awful does that sound!

Store pots of wee  What! It never mentioned that on the front page :rotfl: They should have a big red warning sign. I put in 35 days so hope that works for me then, but I will see what they say about the pots first!

I agree about the break thing too you are more likely to regret it than wish you hadnt I reckon.
