God I love those pictures. I can't believe I didn't take any of my test when I discovered I was pregnant (after nearly ten years of trying!). I'll just have to get my kicks from here instead

RE choosing when your child is born - I couldn't care less. As a teacher, it would be 'best' mat leave wise for me to get pregnant in Dec/Jan but if it happens in June, so be it.

Code, I think that is extremely rude and I wouldn't be going either.

Amy, I also wish it was talked about more. I have a close friend who I am pretty sure has been TTC a while but daren't ask her.

Claire - I've had it for 3 cycles (which for me has been around 8 months now:rotfl:) and if I don't get pregnant, I get to keep it for another 3. If I do, then I get a £30 voucher. They phoned me and asked questions - I think my trial was first pregnancy and regular cycles (which I had when I signed up, weirdly enough!)

I didnt realise you used to have regular cycles. I guess pcos can be weird like that. Are they going to give you something for this cycle to end it?

Oh no how annoying I hate that when youve typed loads!

My sister rang me the other day to say she was engaged for a second I thought she was going to say pregnant, I would have been so upset. She was like 'Ive got something to tell you!!' For a few seconds I felt sick. But realistically if she was pregnant - which I know she isnt planning on right now anyway, I know she wouldnt tell me like that because of my mc.

I havent had any announcements for a while two of my friends have babies now. Im not sure who will be next. Im hoping its me!:)

First post on this new thread, feels good to be on the front page and makes it seem like we are "officially" ttc now.

Have applied for the Clearblue thingie thanks for sharing. The £30 voucher if you get pg within the 3 cycles is a bit off - surely it'd be superfluous as you'd be so chuffed to be pg?! If anything you need £30 voucher for wine and chocolate (and of course brie and dippy eggs) for each month you don't get a bfp

We managed 9 days of BD. If it doesn't happen this month at least that can't be blamed- have now officially tried all combinations known to man of BDing now and am looking forward to no D for a couple of days! Though think OH won't be best pleased as he has 4 days of enforced abstinence next week (and the week after) for his SA.

Congrats to fluffysox and toothfairy. Did either of you do anything different this month to get that elusive BFP?

Teacake - I agree. I think the excitement can only last about 3 months. I dont really find anything about it fun or exciting anymore. Just frustrating.
