    Hello ladies!

I don't know, I go MIA for a couple of weeks and we get loads of BFPs! Congrats to everyone that got their BFP, hope you all have a happy and healthy nine months!

Sorry I haven't been around, I started a new job last Monday so have been mad busy at work getting to grips with that. We also looked at a house last weekend that I have fallen in love with, only problem is I think it has had a lot of interest so now I am stressing that somebody will buy it before we do! Got a 2nd viewing booked for Sat and seeing the mortgage advisor on Tues so everybody keep their fingers crossed for me!

All this has distracted me from TTC this month (probably a good thing tbh because it was getting a bit intense). Still been temping but i'm due to OV any day and there's been no BDing since Sunday! Still at least that was for fun :p

Hope everybody is ok, haven't had chance to catch up properly. Becca - thank you so much for doing the new thread and the lists, I dont envy you but youre doing a fab job!

Congrats toothfairy! Did u have any symptoms? Xx
I know this question not for me but literally just today have had a couple of waves of nausea. Past few days a few spots too.
Can I be updated to 3dpo please Becca? FF and DUO have both confirmed ov now. Thanks. :)

We managed 9 days of BD. If it doesn't happen this month at least that can't be blamed- have now officially tried all combinations known to man of BDing now and am looking forward to no D for a couple of days! Though think OH won't be best pleased as he has 4 days of enforced abstinence next week (and the week after) for his SA.

Thanks for the link Claire. I've applied because you can never have too many sticks to pee on. :rotfl:

Congrats to fluffysox and toothfairy. Did either of you do anything different this month to get that elusive BFP? :)

Hugs to all those who need them- this TTC malarky is absolutely no fun whatsoever.
Honestly I am very surprised to be pregnant as we've been poorly. But made sure to BD twice a week? Also both have taken multivitamins and cut back on alcohol etc.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Claire the voucher is a multi shop one or so I was told!
I has regular cycles for the first 3 after stopping my pill. My theory is that the pill kept the cysts at bay by regulating hormones so coming off it allowed them to grow & it took those 3 months to have an effect on my cycles. Just waiting for next Friday, hoping for something. Don't know what they will do.

Im suprised when you saw the dr they didnt offer you something then! I mean youve been waiting long enough. Especially as your appt came up much quicker than you expected, makes you wonder were they just going to leave you hanging?

    Sounds like a reasonable theory.
  • slightly off topic but hopefully you lot wont mind!
I get a Californian bikini wax & wondered if anyone else did?
I need to invest in a cream or moisturiser to help with ingrown hairs for those first few days after a wax.
    Any recommendations?
Sorry if TMI but I cant suffer in silence anymore :rotfl:
  • I don't wax but do use an epilator on my legs/ underarms and get terrible ingrowing hairs. I'd be keen to try anything that stopped this!

Californian wax- am so un-hip that I have no clue what that is! :)

    Hehehe! Owchy fluffnutter :)

I'm only on the fourth month of trying and it's boring already!! Preparing myself for the long haul as PhD stress is ratcheting up as we speak. I'll be lucky to get through to September with my sanity let alone a baby :p

(I don't want to stop as I am afraid we'll need help and then need to have been trying for 2 years - is that silly? I dunno).

Anyway not much happening here - no EWCM or OPK positives although it's CD16. Drowning my sorrows about work with wine and chocolate fingers. Accidentally ate most of a packet and got in trouble with OH :o

  • Huge congratulations ToothFairy and FluffySox :j What a great start to February. Wishing you both a very happy and healthy pregnancy

 at the California wax. I have a Brazilian, but only when I'm going on holidays. Couldn't get one done every month. Too much ouch

Becca - Hope the wait for next Friday flies by for you.

Claire - Thanks for posting the link. I signed up. Not sure why really as I already have a CBFM :rotfl: But I wouldn't mind some smiley sticks. I seem to remember applying first time round, but wasn't contacted.

TCD - I see that you've mentioned Duo a few times. What is it? Some kind of fertility service?

Afm, CD23 and 9dpo. I think I need ot start writing down my symptom spotting, as I seem to get the same ones but then AF shows. If I write it down it may make me not so crazy. AF due Monday, and pre AF spotting expected any time from Friday, so we shall see. Actually, I was thinking that a BFP this month is probably the worst possible timing for this year with regards to Uni stuff. Hmmm. What will be, will be I guess.
