If anyone wants to do a clearblue trial (I just spotted this on baby & bump) so signed up - not sure how they select people though.

On B&B the person said she thinks you get smiley sticks and preg tests?

I just signed up for this. Thanks for the heads up and the link!

Major temp drop today. As in, from 98.7F to 98.1F. I don't think it means anything though as my temps have been very rocky this cycle. :(

I think I'm going to have a no-baby shower with a gift list for private fertility treatment.

My gift list will be the local private fertility clinic's menu. So e.g someone can buy a SA for DH for £100.

Love it! I might try this idea too! :D I could ask everyone to pool their resources so we get another ICSI go (although obviously this one will work, it will work, it really will).

ETA: depending on dates for EC/ET, when this cycle is successful, my due date will be sometime in December and I couldn't care less. The night before our last appt I had a dream where I was pg and talking to my nan (who died 4 years ago) and she said I was due a week before Christmas. At that point I had no idea when the cycle would start, or how long it would all take. Got home from the appt and added up the weeks and my due date really would be the week before Christmas... so I think my nan's got this one in hand :)

Firefly - I'm not testing at all...just waiting for AF. Cervix has dropped today, got bits of ewcm and my temp dipped a little so AF will be on the way.

PMA - Although clomid did nothing to my ov date, It did almost double my LP and I got a nice progesterone result. So the drug works which is all I can ask for. Next cycle I would like some luck as well.

Tooth - Congratulations. I'm not going to bother waiting for the digi results as its clearly a BFP :)

Thrifty - My son had a 1st birthday party with about 30 very close friends and family. Having said that, it was more for me and OH than for DS as we missed out on everything like that with DD. I won't be doing it again until he is at school but it was nice to have that special one. Thinking about it, if he had still been an immobile lump who I was breastfeeding and who wasn't sociable I probably wouldn't have bothered but he was none of those things and loved flitting from 1 person to the next.

Mrs TM - Your temps can drop below the coverline for one day as long as they go back up the next day. Because your temps have been so erratic your coverline will be less accurate. A lot of your temps are white dots, are you having disturbed sleep/wake patterns?

    Good luck Toothfairy.

CD2 and nasty cold coming which has been lingering for 1 1/2 weeks. Most people around me have it actually.

Re birth month: I wish we could choose but I don't think we have that choice. Even with trying really hard it seems to be a lot of luck to fall pregnant. I would like to avoid Nov and Dec just because of Xmas but realistically wouldn't stop trying in March.

Re baby showers: Totally not my thing, think it's present grabbing. Same with massive 1st birthday parties, the child's not gonna remember. And what is it with party bags. I go to someones birthday, bring a nice gift, but stuff my face in return and have fun. Why would I (or DS) get a party bag. Someone even brought them into nursery for every child in DS group. Don't even know who. Puzzled.

Seems a bit unusual to bring them into a nursery but I think I got a party bag at every party I went to when I was younger! It always had a piece of the cake in it & a few sweets, plastic whistle etc! I can even remember going in the toy dept with my mum to pick out bits for the bags when I had a party, that was fun! But it was only for people who came to the party not every child at school!

I hope I don't take long to ovulate this cycle I'm started to get bored already & I'm still a week off my earliest ever time!

    Debt-free and Proud!
I went out last night... properly (and am suffering the consequences today) ;) Fuelled by the knowledge that I'd had a temp dip and am about as likely to be PG as I am to be elected PM, I though boooger it! What started off as meeting an old friend for a glass of wine turned into a 3am bender in our local retro club with lollypops, dancing and random strangers. It was so nice to be out and do something that felt 'normal'... although I inevitably told him all about the TTCing and probably made him very uncomfortable :o I have to stop being so open about things, he was very sweet though and I'm feeling marginally better today, even though I have the 'sick bucket' out just in case :rotfl:

Cor I agree with you ladies on so many things :D

I don't like baby showers. I went to one last year and the mum to be was in hospital due to high blood pressure waiting in there til she gave birth. So that was >VERY< wierd. And present grabbing :p I didn't take a present. I bought one when the baby was born, and for the big sister etc - but the baby shower was awkward seeing as the main person I knew was the mum-to-be and she wasn't there :eek:

I started off not wanting a baby at x time of year etc. Mum said to me the other day that October (latest baby due date) was better than December (1st mc due date) and I said I really couldn't care less. I would more than happily be in labour on my birthday or xmas day etc. Just a baby would be fabulous :o

Claire - thanks for the heads up - have signed up to it.

Lilymay - Glad its helping with the LP. Hope next month is your month xxx

Tealover - So excited for you - hope its all going ok. Miss you over here xxx

MrsHappy - Fingers tightly crossed for lots of eggys from you today - will be thinking of you.

T2D - Pleased that the op went ok. Shame AF had to rear her head at the wrong time. Bloomin relatives hey?? Never visit at the right time!! Hope she brought chocollate with her xxx

Code - I like your idea of a gift list

TCD - 10 days :eek::eek: We struggle with 3 :o Hope you are rewarded with a BFP for your efforts

Toothfairy - Congratulations. Have a happy n healthy 9 months

Lemon - theres a lot to be said for being poor and happy. I hope you enjoy yr last few days a work (you can keep sticking a finger up to the people who annoy you in your head cos you'll be out of there very soon!)

Has anyone heard from Vesper?? I hope its all going ok for her xxxxxx

Thank you for the advice yesterday. Spoke to the doctor and have to go for a blood test to confirm the levels are low enough that everything will have passed - if not will have to have a scan. He was hard to understand, but I think he was trying to say that home pregnancy tests were inaccurate and that I wasn't really pregnant. So I was getting a bit upset with him on the phone.

Had a bad wobble before bed. I remember being like that last time tho now. I manage all day and am bright enough, but when its quiet and you only have your thoughts then I just couldn't stop sobbing. DH made the mistake of turning the other way to get comfy which made me wail even more :o Feeling brighter again this morning tho. PMA is still here definately - just having moments of 'its not fair' :o

Am trying to get some little mix tickets to take DD to this weekend. Not having much luck yet tho. Am hoping someone will be ill and sell them on ebay and I will get a bargain if I hold my nerve. Fingers crossed.
 Married my lobster in July 2011

TTC # 2 since Oct 2011 - good things come to those who wait :o

 2013 is going to be our lucky year

I'm doing the clearblue fertility monitor trial! It's great :)

How long do they let you have it for? Also did they call you before & ask you questions? I wonder how they pick people?

Abi I really hope the dr didn't mean that! Grr! I think they all need to go on the fertility friend charting course & spend a month on this forum, perhaps they'd know a bit more about cycles & tests then as some of them do seem to talk rubbish!
