It's a bit of a copy of the EDF blue price promise...slightly more slightly less..
Sad to see the site going this way !
Downhill.
Quick behind the shelters...i await the barrage of insults.
No insults, just fact based comments.
It is a bit like EDF blue+, but offers so much more.
EDF Blue + only tells customers if an anverage user on an average consumption could save at least £52 a year on a different tariff.
Just a marketing gimmick EDF thought up really
This energy club works out for each individual their savings based on their own usage and notifies them if there is a saving to be had above the customer defined amount0 -
 Do not go there ..... Google them and read loads of complaints! Haven't tried the new comparison site as I am a in a very good 2yr fix with Southern Electric.
Great idea Martin but won't work for everyone.:T0 -
Annoyingly the address returned for my postcode is wrong (lazy programming not using the PAF rules) and then gives you no opportunity to correct.
Not great service. No contact details on site to seek help.0 -

My feeling is that the majority of people will simply just input their DD amount and not their actual usage. In effect, that means that in the vast majority of these cases, the initial comparison will be inaccurate and so will the subsequent info provided thereafter.0 -
Recent tweet by MSE Martin:To those using our Cheap Energy Club http://t.co/wdAOMguk do note savings r compared 2 what u WOULDVE paid not HAVE paid with prices up 20%
Maybe that explains why some are finding the annual cost of their current tariff is being reflected more than what they actuallly paid for last year ... and hence being shown some larger savings than they might otherwise have expected
(which of course is correct as what is important is what it will cost this year, not what it did cost last year)0 -

There was no need to spend hours and hours searching for the best tariffs - there was just one for each utility. All the experts agree that this current system is broken so bring back nationalised energy."I remember back then. There were no computers, no forums, and trolls were nothing more than fantasy animals that lived under bridges written about in childrens books.
Ah those were the days...
Needless to say, that without computer forums, patronising gruff (billy)goats would have fewer opportunities to expound their unnecessary, ego-serving condescensions too.:)0 -
How can you change what results it returns after you have submitted details as when you edit details those details have gone.
I want to set a threshold currently its set to notify me when save £0 and I also want to add in green tarrifs to tell me about but no option to do that but was originally when signing up.If you found my post helpful, please remember to press the THANKS button! --->0 -
....On the other hand, it has made me even more aware that I really need to change my gas boiler, which is of 1980's vintage. I've kept it because it's totally reliable. It gets its annual service, and the technician always tells me they don't make them like that any more! But my goodness it does burn through the cash......
Has anyone tried everlastingboilers? Their website says "Our 36 kW output boilers are engineered to last and built from the highest quality brass, stainless steel and copper components. We designed our boiler to be as efficient and long-lasting as possible. It’s in our interest that reliability is never an issue."
I expect I'll be told there is a thread elsewhere on this.0 -
Signed up and I'm already on the cheapest tariff by £100.
Power to the people - If it shakes up the utilities companies that will do for me.
Thanks Martin
Can you do something now about the cost of diesel? :rotfl:0 -

I had a quick look and its REALLY expensive over time. Work out what you would pay them in 10 years!
8.79 per week = £ 4,500 total spend.
A new boiler should be less than £ 2,000 fitted with 5 year warranty.0
