Hi everyone, have just found this thread and thought it would be a good kick to my (non) cleaning routine. Bathroom will get a level 2 or 3 clean but study (dumping ground) will just get floor cleaned as needs cleared before can even get near it with vacuum.
Will check in this evening to say how got on.
    Thanks.
    Gail.

I have a 2 feather duvets, both of which over the years have gone ‘flat’ no amount of shaking with plump them up.

So I have an idea to carefully cut the bottom end of the columns (I think there are 5 in total on each duvet) on one duvet, get the feathers out, and carefully stuff the columns of the other one with them, then stitch the plump one back up.

(I am yet to decide what to do with the empty cover)

Now have I done totally mad, or do you think this is feasible?

Or should I be bad very non MSE :money:and just go and buy a new one?

Your thoughts please as I know flyladies are good at this sort of advise. :T

Kaz.. that sounds like fun.. go for it.. might I suggest a new bag in your vacuum cleaner or clean it all thoroughly so the spillages can be sucked up and stuffed back in the duvet?? It will no doubt look like the Swediush chefs kitchen b ythe time you've done pmsl.. and video it if poss .. and wear a dust mask!!!!!!

    I'd buy a new one!
