Competitions Time End Dates

It looks like it - I think if you remove the ',ended' from the end of the address that you can see them, but when I tried that before it added it back on again when you changed to a different page.

I'm another regular MSE comper adding my voice to this thread and asking why is this changing. I do like change when it is for the better but I don't think this is.

Surely can we have a vote about this and the majority wins. I'd be interested to know whether the people in MSE towers making the change even do competitions from the board and whether they truly understand the difficulties this will cause.

worked perfect before, why change. boards total mess, have to use the end date and "old" way until threads have caught up, more time wasting, looks messy, eyes !!!!!!ed, bad enough getting use to the tick/cross change. cant even escape to loquax lol - i give up! too much hard work!

Some months back someone from MSE towers posted a proposition that when we found a merge then all BGs should be PM'd about it, I assume that this decision was u-turned - maybe with enough support from compers they could re-consider this too

Also, it used to be easy to spot a potential problem thread i.e a dupe or dodgy comp because the majority of posters of these types of threads would omit the E: in the title because they hadn't bothered to read the rules and just wanted to spam/self promote/hadn't bothered to search ... now it's impossible to spot dodgy threads.
Just a small thing but it occurred to me as I was trying to focus my eyes on the messy board

think it was just ignored as it made no sense lol! i don't think the people implementing these changes have actually used the competitions board! Annoyingly we can't ignore this as they are forcing the change on us by stopping you using the end date in the title
