  • Hi

If you're trying to edit a post that has the end date in the title you'll need to remove the end date to save it.

You can use the Advanced option and change the end date.

PROBLEMS with moving to GAME OVER?

Have you sorted out a procedure to transfer comps that have ended to GAME OVER?

Have you told the people who do it?

When will comps like this one get moved to GAME OVER?

You can't if post #1 is somebody else's and you are editing post #2.

Seems to be okay now, thanks

It's going to make comping so much more time consuming, if not impossible for the way that I normally work. I log in, sort by last posted and bookmark any comps I fancy into month folders. Then I click 'sort by name' and they're in date order. That won't work now because the date isn't in the title.

I don't understand why you've stopped people from putting the end date in the title? I can understand that you want people to use the new function but not sure why both couldn't be used together??? Many people don't comp by end date and a lot of the feedback that was previously requested seems to have been ignored..

I appear to be in a bit of a minority here, but I don't mind the new system!
I can see some advantages, as long as the editing function is working. I think once it's bedded in it will work as well as or probably better than the previous system

The next thing on my wishlist would be the option to filter out any comps where you've clicked the green tick (entered) or the red cross (skipped).
There are almost 500 comps listed with end-dates of today - it would be great to be able to just see those that I haven't actively entered or skipped.

This is exactly the way that I do it too, so I have to agree that this seems a like an unnecessary backwards step.

Although the new added functionality is welcome, why do we have to lose the ability to have dates in titles as well ? Surely that would give us the best of both and please everyone ?

  • Why are you removing the ability for us all to see the end date within the title ?? Whats wrong with it ??

I like being able to SEE the end date without clicking into the post.

    Leave it be please

I have no idea how to use this new way to search, I just clicked end date and there all mixed up, some that have end date 14/02 in title now have 31/12 in the end date bit????

Also how come theres only 106 pages now, when there was 300+ just now??
  • Is there anyway to make it bigger? The end date I mean. I like to have a quick glance of the date and my eyesight is not fantastic I really liked the way the current Competitions were being posted with E: I mean Yeh I am sure we will get used to the change but that is only if it works well and easily used. I assumed we would always be allowed to do both with title and end date for those "old skoolies" like myself that are very used to this system and it works.
