Thanks for all the replies guys, does give me a little hope for the human race:T
If this was the case Tortoise, I'd gladly just do it, the thing is, "Wilfy", his actual name tag??? my park bench adviser told me it would run for several weeks.
When does enough become enough?
I actually worked out last night I've put in at least £200,000 to the system from income over the past 34 years. Not to mention all the stealth taxes and VAT etc, probably well over double this.
Do you think I could take the Govt to the High Court and sue them for mis-use of my funds, possibly get a rebate:D
That s a valid point. But as the posh boys and lords etc are all in it together, you would lose even though you're totally right.:mad:0 -
I dont get the feeling that the OP is arrogant and cavalier. I just get the feeling that he unfortunately through events beyond his control, found himself in an awful position whereby he was talked down-to and was disrespectfully treated by a rather ignorant and unaware man. Unaware in the way that he obviously didnt think it in any way bad to speak like that to anyone and in the tone and manner that he did. It doesnt matter that the person was not up to how we perceive to be standard, decent, polite and helpful interviewers. But, the young man, I believe was rude, surly and possibly had a bullying nature. If I had been in a similar position I would have been really quite upset and angry. Its bad enough to be out of work but to be spoken to like that - is appalling and totally unacceptable.
So, I would ignore all the posters who are saying rubbish things about your attitude. You were stung and wanted to get some sort of 'support' off people here. Unfortunately, there are alot of people who get off on posts like yours.
I guess Ill get it now - at least that way they will leave you in peace..0 -
Oh, I have just realised that I have posted on a thread that possibly died earlier in the month!! Sorry0

I am a 50 year old male, have worked virtually all my adult life in good jobs and this included running my own company for 7 years, I own my own home, all be it mortgaged to the hilt
, yet now I am deemed by a off beat tramp looking advisor that due to me not getting any o levels 34 years ago, am in need of adult reading and numeracy class, ... This is complete lunacy!!!
Yup, just like most employers also not touching people without qualificiations.
Thats the way it works these days - you should know that of all people.0
