Hi
I got told visor at JC that it is all about beingPaper smart on CV and applications. In spite of my having qualifications and management diploma and held down managerial posts within NHS.
They advised me to do IT course ( I already have certs in this) and to re-do maths and english as was all changed now!
Plus looks better to have more recent dates on CV.
I am in my 50s but have gone with it as cant be bothered to argue with them. Having said that was a bit rich coming from someone who was not at all interested in the wealth of experience I have from working in NHS over 26 years. Be glad to get a job again not much fun being made redundant.
We are not all scroungers as have been made to feel when signing on at times.0 -
It's a pen pushing, ticking box exercise, which hasn't taken into account the individual, their legitimate views & concerns.Loanranger wrote: »What an arrogant attitude from someone who didn't bother to get any qualifications at school!
Once you run a system like that, it becomes flawed & starts to fail its "customers".
Which is exactly what the JC is doing.0 -

Sorry to be blunt, but whilst your spelling is perfect, your construction is far from it. Perhaps you could use this as a positive experience - ask someone to read back your letters and give feedback? Your speech is very stilted, and I would not employ anybody that presented in such a way, at least not in a position that required you to write.0 -
Dont worry I would not want to be employed by someone with such an attitude. But of course I am sure you are perfect0

Are you always this stupid or are you making a special effort today.0 -
