Across the country school holidays could be staggered just by 1 week back for some 1 week forward for others, to stop people taking children out of school for holidays because they are so expensive during half term breaks. Holiday companies would benefit from a wider window in which people can take holiday and parents wont feel so ripped off.0

‘Ring Fence’ retail deposits and gift vouchers
With the recent demise of large retailers such as Comet and HMV highlighting the problem, surely money paid to all retailers for goods that have not been received should be ring fenced from Administrators and Liquidators – much of which currently goes towards paying their fees.Improve Money Rules In 50 Words0 -

most families dread not only losing a love one, but the bill at the end of the process, this rubs salt in the wound, with sometimes the funeral directors wanting the money up front, and the increasing cost of crematoria.
With a lot of people contributing towards the National Insurance, once that person has passed on, it is lost for ever,
My suggestion would be basic funeral cost to be met by NI fund, any add ons could be of course be up to the family should there be one.
Stop the life time of worry – make it a right for a basic free funeral.0 -

By giving these a priority rating, and a grant to help users to generate both heat and electricity for the home, and put any surplus electricity back to the grid ?
Perhaps a subsidy and more information would help?0 -
Support Peer to Peer Lending by offering the same (£85,000) protection as other saving schemes. This will provide some real competition for the banks and valuable investment for companies.0

When something is faulty or incorrect, we should not have to pay for a premium phone call to report it. My last one cost me £7.00 and I was not at fault.0
