These bays are given as a curtesy,it's not the law that you can't park in them. From my point of view a fit 20 or 30 something with a child is less deserving than someone like me who is not 'disabled' per se but because of age is slower and less mobile!0 -
Outlaw premium phone number use for government bodies and other essential services.
We should not have to pay considerable sums to speak to government departments, banks and utility suppliers most of whom earn huge profits anyway. This is just gouging, often on the vulnerable.0 -
If you sign up to something online (internet dating, credit reports etc.) you should be able to cancel it online and as easily as you signed up. Too many services expect you to call a (sometimes difficult to find) number and jump through all sorts of hoops to end a contract you have signed up to.0

I've just been reading that some councils are going to increase council tax by up to £600 per house. Why? because the government has decided the council should pay for people in that areas housing benefits. I already pay a ridiculous amount in council tax nearly 3k a year for small 3 bedroom house. There is no way in hell I am paying some waste of space layabouts council tax bill on top of my own. There will be nothing to show for the extra cost and no improvements.
Why is there such a discrepiancy in council tax between areas? Westminster get off so lightly, shouldn't everyone with the same size house pay the same amount in council tax no matter what area you live in!0 -
Have one government logo rather than different ones for different government departments. Imagine how much money is wasted every time there is a reshuffle and new departments and agencies are created...0

In France the company has to write to you to let you know it is about to expire and give you the option of cancelling.0 -
I think that there should be a limit on how many cards you can have based on your income or a credit cap that can be split across cards. I also find it strange when i read about people on benefits having lots of cards and just paying off the minimum amount, Banks really need to be more responsible.0

In this electronic day and age, we should be able to have access to OUR money more quickly.0

Cyclists
Cyclists - it should be compulsory to take a road theory test before being allowed on the road, they should be given a Highway Code book with every cycle purchase and pay a nominal road tax fee or a licence fee.0 -
Waiting on the phone in a queue can be very expensive so there should be a limit on the number of minutes that have to be paid for by the customer. I suggest that after five minutes in the queue, the call should be free.0
