When I sign up for any contract, I search around for the best deal. But what's the point if a company can change this mid-contract?

In particular I'm thinking of phones, which due to normal 24month contracts, you're at real risk of having your contract increased with little choice.

Please make phone contracts fixed in price for the term of the contract, and any other contract unless you can leave easily!

Why not record teachers lessons on video and put on school websites so pupils sick or not doing well can go over the lesson at home and keep up with their studies like open university does?

On trains that are nearly full first class carriage could be declassified.They are fine if seats are available, but it is annoying to stand if the next carriage has four people in it.

But also get prisoners to work whilst in prison so they can help pay for their keep. It costs a lot to keep someone in prison, surely they could work 9-5 like we do making something that could be sold for profit??

Vehicle road tax, MOT and insurance are now all on a computer sytem. Why do we still have to apply for a road tax disc? Why do we have to go to an office to apply for it or have it posted to us? There must be a cheaper and better system for dealing with this.

Driving into Sheffield is a nightmare of gridlocked traffic. Suffocating car fumes, no parking for local shops and all because instead of a 4 lane highway there are only two. Cause? Bus lanes. During my 'trip' I saw only one bus in lane.Needless expense,loss of business, poor healh.

Our society has forgotten the value of play in the development of the child. Government is obsessed with putting 3-year-olds on chairs and making them learn letters and numbers, which bear no relationship to the physical world. Let children learn through play and raise the school starting age to six.

Never mind gay marriage, there’s inequality of inherited pensions for civil partners. Bereaved married people inherit pension rights dating back to the start of contributions, maybe forty years, but bereaved civil partners only to 1988 or in some cases only to 2005.

They are quick to change the 'contract' in their favour, but you try to change it or leave and see what happens!

As children progress through school, the length of their day should gradually increase until it is in line with that of the outside world. This would allow time for the older pupils to study "grown up" subjects such as finance, politics, civics, etc., take some daily physical exercise and be better prepared for post-school life.
