Force shops to reduce the lighting they leave on at night when closed. When the government is trying to get us all to be greener and reduce our CO2 emissions, businesses leave their premises lit up like Christmas trees at night.

Change the Credit file system so payment arrangements markers(AP) on files are deleted 6 years after entered, not after account settlement. The marker could remain for up to 12 years, 6 years to settle plus 6 years from settlement. A default is removed after 6 years settled or not.
  • Instead of giving winter fuel payments to the elderly claimant, the

government should pay this money direct to energy companies as

many people still don't heat their houses and use the money for

other purposes or their family take it off them.
  • Save our tax bills - Check land registry for 2+ owners v taxes they pay

How many people rent without using agents, don't declare tax and sell without paying capital gains (20%!). Check land registries for owners with 2+ properties v taxes they pay. They can't be living in both.

Peer to peer lending should be allowed within Isas.
  • Landlords, especially stately homes charge top end rent for Victorian houses, no central heating and damp. Affordable only with housing benefit. Cap rents or give Fair Rent agency more teeth. Only winner is avaricious Landlords with land and property by accident of birth. How mad is it to pay the landlords the difference of a fair rent from council coffers. Result: Child poverty, I see it.
  • Currently there is legislation that makes unfair terms and conditions in a contract between a customer and an organisation null and void even if a customer signs away his rights. This legislation however does not apply to banks with their terms and conditions where they can charge unspecified costs for a service after the event rather than quoting all costs up front before the service has been carried out. Banks need to be made to comply with unfair contract law as the ombudsman currently claims its not in their remit.
  • Stop park home owners being ripped off.

many park home owners have to pay the owner of the site for their gas and electricity. The price is usually inflated and there is no choice of supplier so they cannot get the best deal. They also miss out on Warm Homes discounts as their name is not on the energy bill. We need legislation to make this illegal

Debt free - as long as you don't count my student loan

University students should never be charged above the rate of inflation on their student loans. The Government should charge only what is needed to cover their costs and not make a profit out of students for trying to better themselves and further their education.

I agree and also get annoyed that EU children are allowed to access our universities free, yet our children have to pay large fees to become doctors, teachers, solicitors etc.

We should stop immigrants coming into this country as they are taking British citizens jobs minus the immigrants there would be enough jobs to go round therefore bringing unemployment down.
As stated previously make it harder for immigrants to get benefits I am sick of having to pay for a family living in a mansion when us Brits cant get a sniff of a council house. The woman I seen on TV the other morning who refuses to work because benefits are better for her should be automatically stripped of all benefits sent back to her country and told to repay If I said that my benefits would stop in a heartbeat.
The system here in Briton is pathetic and needs changing.
    Rant Over.

I also feel that ONLY UK citizens should get child benefit & Tax credits, EU citizens are coming here & claiming them and going back to Europe still getting these benefits, especially while we have such great deficites. This would reduce the benefits the government have to pay, maybe then fewer EU citizens will come to the UK, reducing the hand out culture for EU citizens
