I support a free democraticsociety where freedom of expression are embodied in a Freedom Bill providingfor citizens to voice their opinion (civilly without threat or malice) and togo about lawful business unimpeded. I do not condone radical extremists usingthis freedom to promote civil unrest or anarchy.

Make reselling Gig tickets for profit illegal
It is getting almost impossible to buy tickets for gigs etc when they go on sale. There have always been the touts but these used to be some dodgy old bloke outside the venue on the night. These days everyone is at it - tickets are bought up en masse and put onto re-sale sites like Ebay almost immediately in contravention to the Ticket Agent terms of Sale and often in contravention of Ebay's own rules (not that they care of course!). Even the ticket agents are now getting in on the act and operating re-sale sites of their own with huge fees.
Even more annoying is when the gig is for a charity and someone is lining their own pocket out of it.
Real fans are missing out and getting conned.0 -
In domestic planning proposals I would provide that where theapplicant for planning permission has agreement from 60% of neighbours orothers who might be influenced by the proposed development. This is more important and influential in thepermission process than the personal view of a single planning officer

Please take action to eliminate the 'politically correct' or'crazy regulations' initiated by some local authorities, which interfere beyondbelief in citizens daily lives. Thetabloid press regularly report on some council activity that beggars belief; eg'being fined for picking up the wrong dog poo"

The adage an Englishman's home is his castle should be themainstay of protecting individuals when they defend themselves, their familiesand their belongings against intruders. Perpetrators ought to know that in illegally entering a property theylose all rights offered by the protection of the law.

This is why the supermarkets provide trollies that fit to wheelchairs or the motorised buggies.
A lot of disabled people, myself included, shop online and use the smaller supermarkets for top up shopping. I can seldom manage to get round a large supermarket unaided.0 -
