Can I only be here if I want to find out my consumer rights? I want to try and find out if there is anything else I can do. I also wanted to share my story. And also I am here to hear from anyone who has further information. I have done things that I can think of to help myself. It is fraud, because they have never delivered the products and you are right, I am entitled to a chargeback. Hopefully this will be the end of it, but if its not, I have to try and find out what to do next.0

These threads are full of all the information you needs. Seems you have already made a good start.I have done things that I can think of to help myself. It is fraud, because they have never delivered the products and you are right, I am entitled to a chargeback.
In a banks eye's this is not fraud as you gave the company your deails. Fraud is when a 3rd party uses them without your consent.
Your bank should have delt with this in the correct way. This is telling you how they will deal with it, as a dispute for non reciept of goods.Hopefully this will be the end of it, but if its not, I have to try and find out what to do next.
You have done all you need to do. its now upto your bank to deal for you as per PSD (payment serviced directive).
This means any further debits and you get refunded straight away. No ifs, no but... Pure and simpleNever ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -
HI THERE, I AM NOW IN THE SAME POSITION AS YOU BUT TODAY I SPOKE TO MY BANK AND THEY ARE RAISING A CLAIM AGAINST THE COMPANY. WHILE SPEAKING TO THEM I HAPPENED TO BE LOOKING AT MY ONLINE STATEMENT AND I NOTICED THAT THERE HAD BEEN A DEPOSIT OF £37.60 £4.98 AND £75. I ASKED TO PERSON I WAS TALKING TO AT THE BANK IF IT
WAS THEM THAT HAD MADE THE DEPOSIT AND SHE SAID NO, IT HAD BEEN DONE BY THE COMPANY (KETONE). so even though i have never had any correspondence with them, they have at least refunded half my money back so far.0 -
Hi there fire fox, i don't mean to offend in any way, but i do find your remarks rather thoughtless! People like myself who send for these quick fixes no deep down that the likelihood of these tablets helping us to lose weight or cleanse our bodies is pretty low. But when you read a statement that celebrities are endorsing this product, your head is turned, even though it might seem too good to be true. So, please... Have a little sensitivity before writing such condescending remarks. Its quite hurtful, especially when all you want is some reassurance that your'e not alone!!!!:(0

I appreciate that and I have read the thread but I'm trying to seek advice from somebody that made the same choice as me and chose to purchase the discounted product. I'm trying to find out if the product is going to actually arrive and if this company will try take more money! Is there anyway I could try get all my money back? I'm asking because I'm one of the few people who opted to pay to cancel.
How is this company still running!
I received the product in 2 days. read some comments on here and sent them back. used the online line button to cancel and was charged £37.50. engaged in dialogue with them and was amzed to get a refund as I had followed their rules. but notice an e-mail in my junk from Ketone Elite dated 09.04.13 so they are still in business.
I would advise anyone to send the product back within the timescales. phoning is waste of time and money. sending back costs around £13 but worth it. Credit Card Company very helpful0 -
Hi all,
I realised that this company was dubious after reading the small print (once I had signed up to the trial!)
I therefore cancelled my subscription to them through the website, and received an email confirmation from them that the cancellation had been processed and no further funds would be taken.
Dear xx,
Thank you for using Ketone Elite TRIAL. This email is to inform you that your subscription status has been recently updated and any ongoing or all future charges have been cancelled as per your request.
If you have any questions about the cancellation of this subscription, or if you would like to re-activate the same in the future, please feel free to contact our Customer Service team.
Ketone Elite emailed me the next day to say my delivery had been shipped. The p&p charge of £2.49 had been debited from my account.
I then cancelled my card with the bank, who advised that even with a new card number, the company could still take funds However, they advised I should keep hold of the email confirmation from Ketone Elite which states all future charges have been cancelled", and then if any further funds are debited they can raise a dispute and recall them.
I plan on keeping this account empty, and sending back the product as soon as it is received. As per their terms and conditions, they should only take further funds on day 14 of the trial - however if the items are received back within 21 days, they will refund the amount.
To be sure, I will be ensuring the product is returned within the 14 days, which should in theory stop them from trying to take nay further funds in the first place!0 -

Can I just re ask what everyone else is, I paid postage for a free 30 day trial, received the bottles, then did not cancel until I saw the £37.50 and £75 go out of my account today, have sent emails, spoke to the bank (who said they cannot help as I only cancelled today) and tried to call ketone elite (automatated service) is there nothing else I can do to get a refund??0

On the information you have given, it can only be assumed that you didn't cancel because you liked the product and wished to continue with the subscription service.
Is that not the case?
Whether that is the reason you didn't cancel or not, the point is you did not cancel.
No-one has done anything wrong here.
You are not due a refund.0
