  • OOWW, the same thing has happened to me. . . I can't believe i let them Con me!!! :( im normally so careful with this sort of thing! over £110 been taken from my account! ive sent several emails and not had one reply from them!! only that stupid automated answer when u try to phone them! i will definitely be contacting my bank on the weekend. And i really hope i get my money back! i certainly can't afford this!!!!
  • Hey Guys,

So I also fell foul of this but have just been reading all your posts and this prompted to search through my spam inbox on my computer where i have found an email from them which has he following paragraph in it.

'If you would still like to return your order and not pay for it at all, please send it back to the address below and write the RMA number on the outside of the envelope. Please note payment will automatically be taken on day 14 but this will be refunded if you return it between days 14 and 21 days. If you return the product after 21 days, we are not able to offer you a refund or ship the product back to you.'

So yes I had the initial punch in the guts when I saw they had taken out over £100 from my account in two different charges £75 and a £37.50 which makes chargeback harder as it is under £100 but even so I have a proof of payment for when I returned it and also and emails confirming the dates I called up and cancelled so good grounding to get my pennies back.

I have also notified my bank that I wish for this company to NOT be allowed to take any further money from my account.

lets just say Ive learnt my lessons from this one and wont be buying into any quick fixes again, wether they're advertised on the telly box or not!!.

Good luck in getting your pennies back girls.

Chargebacks are no harder because the payments are under £100.
There is a minimum of £10 for Mastercard, but otherwise no minimum.

You are confusing Chargebacks with Section 75 refunds.

Have a read of MSE's Chargeback article.

We have also had this experience and are dealing with it. One thing I don't think I've noticed is this company isn't adhering to the Distance Selling Regulations. Not sure if anyone has noted the company doesn't give a physical address but gives a PO box. With this in mind everyone should also be entitled to refunds via postage should they not?

You can tell what an amateur outfit they really are. Their site has no postcode validation whatsoever. Also if you put a space in between the std code and telephone number it can't handle that either.

So if it makes anyone feel any better their website is a load of old rubbish

    :)

A chargeback is as simple as it gets.

So long as you cancelled before they took the £37.50 & £100 then get the bank to claim the money back as a chargeback 41... Cancelled CPA.

Hi all,try ringing this number.08447452161.i fell for the same trick.i even paid £18.75 to cancel the trial.they have just taken £75 off me aswell.we wont be the first and we wont be the last im afraid.hopefully i think i have managed to cancel mine through the automated service.but make sure you ring twice as you have two different order numbers.good luck

This is my first time posting on here so please be patient!

I recently (and very stupidly) signed up to a free trial for ketone premium & cleanse premium.
The trial was offered on the basis that you are sent the product via post and if you did not, for whatever reason, get on with it you could cancel and not pay anything. I imput my details but didnt receive any confirmation email which I thought a little odd but after that I just really forgot I'd ordered it and never received the product so assumed the trial had ended or not gone through. I then checked my bank balance on Saturday and found that £75 had been debited from my card to Ketone and today saw a further £37.50 had been paid to Cleanse. In a panic I found their telephone number and rang them only to get an automated service which allowed me to cancel my subscription but not actually speak to anyone! I emailed them yesterday and sent a message via their website today asking for my money back as I had received no contact or product from them yet had paid over £100 to them! I also threatened to take the matter further although I'm not sure what the next steps would be!
I feel very stupid and very conned as I signed up for a free trial and this is not what I got.

    Someone please help!
    Thank you in advance.

I have stupidly signed up for this scam today. Can someone advise on what I should do?

I have contacted Capital One who have put a block on any further attempts to take money. I then emailed Ketone to advise I want to cancel and that my bank have put a block on them. HOPEFULLY this should be the last I hear from them.
