    Also, if you had taken just a moment to read the following on eBuyer listing;

    Talk Talk Broadband support will not support this product.

    You may have given us both a bit more credit, it isn't hidden away, it is top of the main listing.. ;)

    Good luck with your lessons in Philosophy.. :rolleyes:

    I am with talktalk at the moment.

    If I get this router, then will I still need to usedthe modem which I have now from talktalk or does the router do both the job, ie wireless connection and it is a modem too?

    Indeed, it will do both jobs, it will act as a Modem and Router in one, including Wireless.

    Nice one.. ;)
  • I'm on AOL, and I've had no probs in setting up. Don't forget that when it asks to "username" you should put your screenname following with @aol.com not just your screen name.

    Many thanks. Followed your advice and got to the next stage. Problem now is that I can't connect! aol searches for a connection device, then says it can't find one. Any ideas? Thanks again.

    I have this router running fine with 3 of us connected wirelessly, the only problem is that internet access is only available when I've powered on my PC.
    I did the setup on my machine but I need the other PCs to have access when mine is not on, is this possible?

    I have mine connected like this;

    Main computer via cable connection to router / modem, 2nd computer via wireless.

    The 2nd computer runs fine without the first being switched on.

    However I have updated the Talk Talk software to the Philips Software, not sure if it makes any difference.

    Hope this helps.

    I would give it a try, not sure what you mean about postage, you have to pay postage for purchases below £89.99 anyway.;)
