Skint, you are amazing. You are doing so well. Can't ex (not sure of your circumstances as not been here long) help you out a wee bit longer? Don't do too much. I'm very pleased that things are going in the right direction xx0

Skint - great news about Holly :]] Hope Ex can stay a bit longer - make him feel guilty about putting a wing mirror before Holly's needs
Ran around like a madun tonight - taking kiddies here there and everywhere - worth it though as DD has been given a Principle's Award for her sterling work and most excellent politeness at a Parents Eve at school tonight - she was a helper - obviously she takes after me [insert very proud Mum face here please]
Don't read if you don't like sick
But to balance it out I picked up DS and a neighbours child from an event at school - little girl was complaining of a tummy ache, got her out of the car, round to her front door and she promptly threw up everywhere and I mean everywhere, her Mum was trying to get her door unlocked so she could come out to get her, I'm holding her hair out of her face and heaving my heart up lol. We looked a right funny lot! Now I have to clean my boots - out comes the disinfectant.
So not a lot of flying tonight but it'll only take mins to straighten up tomorrow :]

Evening.:D
Skim read the thread. But got distracted by the news and now forgotten everything again
Today I have spent the day either working or sleeping. I'm so tired I've been falling asleep at the drop of a hat. Taking it as a sign my diet is out of whack again, but can't put that right until the weekend and I go shopping.Plus I'm coming down with a cold, which is probably due to getting wet on Monday
I still have work to do tomorrow morning due to falling asleep so much today. Shouldn't take me more than an hour in theory hopefully. Then I need to get the house sorted for the weekend so I can see my music being blasted to try and get myself moving  I'm going to have a 15min challenge when I log off and see how much work stuff I can put away before I head for bed.

Banish 2 empty boxes upstairs for storage - recycle the box they replace!
Make potato bake style thing in slow cooker or remoska before the spuds start growing new ones

Ruby, he lives 70 miles away and has been flitting about for us for two weeks, and next week is his fixed annual leave. I have recovered a lot better than I did last time, so I don't want to push things. The cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Oh dear, helen jelly, well done your DD
but what a horrid mess with your neighbour's child
Skint, it's good to hear that you and Holly are both doing well and have had some much needed sleep. Can you give EX the weekend off for good behaviour but ask him to come back next week to do the nursery run?
Well done on the mortgage, Mumof2 :money:
Today I have
- swallowed the very big frog
- done most of the washing
- got trousers and shirts dry on the line :money:
- downloaded a battery app for my Kindle - I've hardly used it and the battery doesn't seem to be holding its charge
- explained to OJM what I need him to do: he's coming back on Tuesday
- sold another eB@y item
- ate a large Chinese meal and had a lovely time at the theatre with DH
:bdaycake:
DH says thank you very much for all the birthday wishes you've sent him. He is not used to so much attention! I think birthdays got forgotten for the 15 years when he was on his own.
Tomorrow I must try to do
- more washing
- HHI
- as many things off the remainder of this week's lists as I can
- another paper frog
- 3 phonecalls
- materials and notes for Monday's course
- more eB@y listings
- packing for the weekend away
and we're out again in the evening!
Good night :wave:0 -
Skint.. My sister was driving 3 days after her emergency section, with an infected wound. Her baby started having seizures the night she got home from hospital and she had no way to get to the hospital. (she left dad with baby and went home to get dressed, she went in the ambulance in her pj's
) It seems to be just the possibility of having to do an emergency stop which could cause biggest problems... Another friend was driving to visit her very very sick baby in NICU 2 days after her emergency section, sadly her little girl never came home
... Of course I am absolutely not advising you to ignore medical advice and drive but sometimes needs must, if you do drive.. take it easy.. no crazy handbrake turns please!.
I need crisps.. cheese and onions walkers please.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Been to PTA meeting (I'm the T). Lawks they can chatter...
I am now also the treasurer. No one else offered and I know I have relevant skills so there you go. On the plus side one of the mums mentioned that my presentation re maths teaching in KS2 to the parents was perfect, pitched at exactly the right level and apparently this was a general consensus. So I asked her if she would mention it to my new boss and she says she has every intention of doing so. Well it was my first ever presentation to parents; I was nervous and since I clashed with the previous head this is the kind of affirmation I needed. Happy days.
DW and WM are filled ready for nocturnal (and, therefore, moneysaving) action. Much as I hate Mr T the 24/7 extra opening means I have wine, I have had cheese balls and we now have the key life essentials squash and bananas. And cheap bourbon biscuits. An excellent choice because I don't like 'em.
Aquarians - my DD is one. We are all Air signs in Villa Valli (no wonder we 'lost' the Arian) but (much as I don't believe) DS (Libran, like me) I know inside out; can read him like a book, know what he's up to etc. DD however, came here a mysterious stranger - took me a long time to get to 'know' and understand her...
But now I do understand her she too holds NO surprises...I intuitively know what she would like or dislike. To the extent that the screwdriver I saw, and bought for her for a xmas stocking filler, aged about 7, was her favourite gift!
Mind you I 'knew' their genders...without a scan.

Thank you Honey Bear0
